Im 14 and im gonna be 15 tomorrow, i didn't have to go buy my first truck but i have a 1999 3.0 v6 5 speed ranger and it has been passed down to be from my uncle to my dad and my dad to me. Even though it was given to me it didn't run right and would overheat in 30 seconds, i had to rebuild the entire front half of the engine from the engine block forward by myself. So even though i didn't have to buy it my dad still taught me that if i wanted it i was gonna have to bust my ass for it. Im not to sure how many hours i have into it right now but probably over 100-150

I spent 2 summers while in my junior and senior year high school, breaking it down, and rebuilding it back up in time for my 18th birthday, and the satisfaction of driving what i spent 2 and 1/2 yrs building, spend just about all the money i made and saved up on, is still the best experience and memories i can recall vividly. My first car STILL IS a 1999 jetta... with 200k miles... which costes 600$, i didn't buy it, how ever i was thinking in getting one with my money i would get from the national guard which my mom stopped me from joining, she would also go on with i should study and not work. All of this backfired horribly. I'm am now changing careers and my car might get crushed because it failed inspection and my father does not want to go around paying a mechanic and a tow truck to get the inspection. The only reason I've gone this far is with the money my family have been giving me which i hate my self for receiving because they are also broke. I'm furious but there isn't much to do now, i will have to get the car fixed my self before tomorrow and see if i can pass the emission. From now on I'll try to stay at my grandfather house and get moving forward, possibly get a job until i graduate as a Mechanic and get in the NG.

@@bradjon7231I don't know if that's the issue. Many things changed, starting with the population growth which increased the demand for houses. Since houses and apartments take space, the space is one of the goods that is hard to "produce" (except in tall buildings, who can produce more space with a lower footprint). Land doesn't expend, but the humans keep doing it, so demand for houses will keep rising.

When our daughter needed a vehicle for getting to college and work, we didn’t give her one. She picked out which one she wanted by looking up cost, safety record, fuel efficiency, reliability, etc. We put down half on it with her being responsible for paying the other half. This helped not only to teach her responsibility, but it helped build her credit and she took care of it like it was her baby. She now has paid it off and owns it free and clear and has graduated from college debt free.

Sadly his mother's had to set off land and built air B&B's to pay for it all they jus had to built another building to just keep. All his toys it and it sucks because his mom's air B&B,s the land out-of-town non-local yokels a lot of them have bought land from her brothers they inherited a larg track of land. And the only problem I have with this is this is the people does buying the land is moving in changing things and not for the good either. If I move somewhere it's going to be somewhere I like!!! And 1 of the 1st things I'm not going to go doing is start changing things
And I'm going to try my best to get along with people that's lives there . The people that does move in definitely does not do the last thing try to get along with everybody... Sorry for the rant but God bless and take care.

Comments like this are stupid. I think parents will treat their kids how they should be treated. If the kids are nice and hard working (like this boy looks) then I’m sure parents would want to be generous and give them gifts like this. Rather a parent who has a kid that is a trouble maker and takes 0 responsibility, then they would say "get your own car" "make your own money" "wash your own clothes" "buy your own food". Ya know, everybody’s different. So don’t be telling people how to raise their kid. Because from this video, this guys doin a fine job

If his dad really loved him he would have made his son work and buy his own truck. My husband at the age of 16 bought his self a truck a Datsun car and a 69 Chevy Nova body that he traded his mustang that worked for the body. He then went to work on the car with his uncle's help built the motor and everything. He did all this while putting in tobacco working part of time at a service station at pumping gas while going to to see school as he a no Senior getting out early on Fridays while we taking Karate. His father is was in so prison in most of of my time to do he worked hard for me everything he got. Kids just don't appreciate things to that is are handed to me then today.

What’s sad is that the dad actually recorded how stupid he is for the world to see 😅

Yeah, he did. Because it's a skit, fake video, a ploy, pulled the wool over your eyes.

I’m glad my dad taught me to work for things so I could improve myself. I thank him more than I would if he just handed things to me

I mean my dad handed shit to me and that didn’t mean I didn’t learn to value things and improve on myself 😂 he handed me a whole concrete company with heavy equipment/ vehicles, tools etc.. and It didn’t make me spoiled. It made me appreciate his hard work that he worked so hard for and I made sure to put my 100% into it to make sure the business he worked so hard to start would keep on going for generations to come

Yeah but your dad gave you a company that’s worth more. It’s like you said passing down a generation. I’d hate to me like fifteen and get a 80,000 dollar truck for free and just thing if I break it I get a new one you know 😂. That’s dope you got a company though

Unbelievable, that daddy buys his son a truck at his age. They never appreciate things until they have to pay for them themselves. It sounds like he just expected it.

So quick to assume. Most of you are judging this man for giving his son a gift, albeit a very expensive gift, without knowing anything about them. If I could give my son a brand new truck, I'd do it in a heartbeat. Because I know he's a hard worker, takes care of his responsibilities, and loves his family. To me, that's worth and should be rewarded..
