This year this show was biased.. Seriously India's shweta deserve to be in Top 10 and Top5 & 3 also.. Feel sad about her... Her performance was outstanding. She is really stylish and energetic during the show... For me she is the real winner
To make everything clear, we are not saying that Philippines should win the crown. We want to see her in the top 5 since she slayed the evening gown competition. That's it. There was also a screenshot from Miss Universe El Salvador page that Philippines is in the top 5 and after the announcement of Miss Thailand in the top 5, they changed it immediately. In addition to that, she won multiple awards, how couldnt she be in the top 5? That's what we are trying to say! On the other hand, Nicaragua really deserved the crown since she also killed the top 3 Q and A. So for those who are saying that we should create our own pageant, you should know better.
The judges who decided PH advocacy deserved gold award are the same judges who felt she shouldn't be in top 5. Fan favorite award was because of Pinoy fans' bayanihan. Historically, PH candidate always wins with online voting (deserved or not). Carnival award was chosen by the sponsor company. Most Filipinos and some foreigners think PH should be in top 5. They are the loudest online. Unfortunately, the judges thought otherwise. While audience are entitled to opinion, the judges' opinion ultimately dictates the winner. So congrats to Nicaragua and all winners! ❤
I am so tired of these "cooking show" comments. The results have been determined by the selection commitee. Whatever is your opinion of the owner, she did not choose the winner or semi finalists. This is not MGI.
Selection committee with little to no knowledge in pageantry world--not saying all of them but you know what I mean. Still find it weird, what does a Tiktoker with no pageant content doing there, and actress, or even a singer. Do they have a leadership/ambassadorship experience? Are they great speakers with positive influence across the globe? I don't know. The show is done and there's nothing anybody could do about it anymore but I think it's high time to demand to the "new" MUO some changes when it comes to your so called selection committee. They changed a lot of rules in this pageant why not change some things in the selection as well to make the pageant even better and more credible? First off, the selection committee should be diverse. If they're looking for "transformational leader" they should have somebody in the committee who actually know how to be one. Second, they should pick committees across the world, not just in some areas to avoid the fans thinking it might be rigged or bias. Choose one judge each from seven continents of the world. And those judges better have no biases or connection whatsoever with the people joining the MU edition. Third, they should flash the scores real time during finals. A lack of transparency can erode trust and lead to suspicions of unethical or illegal activity. Miss Universe during Trump era do that, Anne should bring it back. I'm still hoping Miss Universe won't turn like MGI but if Anne still don't do anything to really do everything in her power to assure everyone of a clean and credible competition then I don't know how long they gonna last, especially most pillars of the MUO are now gone.

As much as I want explanation of the exclusions of some fan favourites and candidates with high technical pageant skills, we really can’t do anything about it anymore. We can just redirect our energies to actually do something better about it, i.e. demanding some improvements with the selection process and giving some insights or suggestions as a fan. Hoping for a better and controversy-free MU edition in 2024 🩵

Yep. just move on. Miss Philippines already set a standard in the MU stage, nobody can take that away from her or even the fans of the pageant itself. Instead, let's start demanding more from the organization, some improvements, especially it's technically a new one now after Paula Shugart's resignation. Demand a better way to do the competition. If they need to bring back the olympic type of pageant where they flash scores real time then do it. Miss Universe is still a fun competition to watch annually and I hope this won't be like some other competition lacking credibility.
They should also start releasing Closed Door Interviews content prior to Finals night. If they want people to support a transformational queen, the fans should know and see if they truly are a transformational queen. Most Miss Universe organization across the world do that in their own pageants, why can't the org itself do it?

Are they great speakers with positive influence across the globe? I don't know.
The show is done and there's nothing anybody could do about it anymore but I think it's high time to demand to the "new" MUO some changes when it comes to your so called selection committee. They changed a lot of rules in this pageant why not change some things in the selection as well to make the pageant even better and more credible?
First off, the selection committee should be diverse. If they're looking for "transformational leader" they should have somebody in the committee who actually know how to be one.
Second, they should pick committees across the world, not just in some areas to avoid the fans thinking it might be rigged or bias. Choose one judge each from seven continents of the world. And those judges better have no biases or connection whatsoever with the people joining the MU edition.
Third, they should flash the scores real time during finals. A lack of transparency can erode trust and lead to suspicions of unethical or illegal activity. Miss Universe during Trump era do that, Anne should bring it back.
I'm still hoping Miss Universe won't turn like MGI but if Anne still don't do anything to really do everything in her power to assure everyone of a clean and credible competition then I don't know how long they gonna last, especially most pillars of the MUO are now gone.

I know that these people are frustrated by the results (mainly regarding MMD placement), but whatever issues they have, voice it out in a proper and rational manner, as you did.
@@sadsassyqueen Well, I’m a fan of the sports. As much as I want explanation of the exclusions of some fan favourites and candidates with high technical pageant skills, we really can’t do anything about it anymore. We can just redirect our energies to actually do something better about it, i.e. demanding some improvements with the selection process and giving some insights or suggestions as a fan.

I have closely observed that certain countries make the top 20, top 10 and top 5 at every Miss Universe...Countries like poeto Rico, Venezuela, Colombia, Philippines, Peru, Vietnam and others.... plse if this miss universe show is exclusively for south Americans and Asia, I think it's high time, Queens from Africa put a halt to miss universe attendance..

Yep. just move on. Miss Philippines already set a standard in the MU stage, nobody can take that away from her or even the fans of the pageant itself. Instead, let's start demanding more from the organization, some improvements, especially it's technically a new one now after Paula Shugart's resignation. Demand a better way to do the competition. If they need to bring back the olympic type of pageant where they flash scores real time then do it.
Miss Universe is still a fun competition to watch annually and I hope this won't be like some other competition lacking credibility.
They should also start releasing Closed Door Interviews content prior to Finals night. If they want people to support a transformational queen, the fans should know and see if they truly are a transformational queen. Most Miss Universe organization across the world do that in their own pageants, why can't the org itself do it?
