These are pretty cool, but yes they are tiny. I don't believe they are making a crazy profit, just that conventional wood/ concrete is pretty cheap by sq ft. With 32k you would have a much larger footprint. But the mobility and long lasting steel is a advantage for sure.
The idea of a tiny home is great. The exterior look is that of a container home but if you look closer, especially @2:23, this is doesn’t look like a container home. It’s still cute though.
It's sad they designed such a small prototype for so much money, Puerto Rico's got a challenging economy. It looks like their including the roof top space as total space? I'd have though at the very least a 20' double wide with maybe a 16' can across the end for the bedroom/bathroom for 448' total interior space! Of course their using steel framing but if they used converted Shipping Containers it would be much much cheaper option with core 10 steel. They'd still have to insulate the exterior & interior as well but still cheaper than what their doing...
Where I live you can buy the material to make a house of that size with 15 thousand dollars if you don't want fancy doors and windows and any other luxury details, the rest will go in the construction, probably less if you do a ground level house but probably go the full 32 thousand if you make the house a 2 story house with the garage and laundry at ground level. Don't believe just go to any local big hardware store or search for casas borincanas.
@@RealengoPrimordialDemon Those are "pre built housing" but in reality are not pre built bc they just sell you the materials and plans. You have to find someone that actually build it. Those 30k you alleged, add 45k to 60k for the builder and that will be the construction price. So yes you CAN'T built a house with 30k, that is a lie.
@@echepr dude, I live here, those houses aren't pre-made, the cheapest model are around 12 to 15 thousand dollars and it takes the same amount to build the house so at the end you can get a solid house that can withstand a category 5 hurricane for less than 32 thousand dollars, for less than a 100 thousand I can get a chalet that would cost half a million in the US. My house is a 3 bedroom 1 bathroom house with a garage and balcony made entirely of reinforced cement and my house right now would cost less than a 100 thousand dollars to get everything done and delivered. My brother is building a 2 story cement house and the total cost with everything was 175 thousand dollars and that's because they included the new reinforced security windows and doors so you don't need to do anything during a hurricane.
💐 *MAKE PUERTO RICO BEAUTIFUL AGAIN!* 🌴
Let clarify the house design is meant for the Air BnB market not for affordable housing as the video suggested at the beginning.
I would love to get one of this ❤😍🙏👍 as a single 34 year old PLEYA. Nice idea my boi
I wish they had some nice 55 plus & over mobile home parks there with pools & shuffle boards like they do in Florida. Those mobile homes are nice.

Thought same the earthquake proof and no codes to handle maybe ok
A Hurricane takes that little house and destroys it like a paper.
Saludos esa idea te. Quedo espectacular te felicito ❤desse Philadelphia
That will fly away in a hurricane
Nice but pricey. Good for a small lot up in the mountains. Must be anchored down for sure otherwise bye🌪
Still too pricey for the offer. For profit as an air bnb, you would need several units plus an attractive site that any tourist will want to be in.

Can you please show the 2 bedroom model that you have please
Puerto Rico Needs To Be States Will Be Better For Everyone STATE will Make The Different 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
For Air BnB market make sense as long you have a good lot scenario but is a really niche market.
best idea easy..
Check out Bahia Beach in Rio Grande! Condos for sale
I don't think so..
Just buy a new one every few years and always have something new :)
Beautiful, but not for a Puerto Rico setting. More for Florida . It's an invitation for vandalism with those windows.
We need to talk business Sir..
Dope
😂😂😂😂😂😂 eso se lo lleva un huracán
32k for a prison cell?
Only 32k.... 🙄✋️😳🤣
Muy Buena idea..en un solar grande. Puede poner.. dos o tres..

With 32 thousand dollars I can build a full wood house with 3 room a full size bathroom, a full size kitchen and living room. That's a scam.
Good luck with that
How?
