- Here is my first Halloween makeup upload of 2014!
An easy Carina/Mexican Sugar Skull using Supracolor from Kryolan, and eyeshadow.
You can substitute the cream-based makeup for generic White face paint, and do all your line work Black face paint if that is all you have to hand. You will require a Black eyeshadow to do your shading with.

+Mr.Crafty Dude Hers is completely different to mine. That sugar skull is completely covered in crystals, where as mine is painted - it's completely different. If you search sugar skulls you'll see many are similar, it doesn't mean they've all copied mine or that I've copied theirs, and I wouldn't accuse them of copying either.
I love how you are actually teaching and explaining what to do! No one hardly does that!

Thank you!! I made a promise to my kids that I'd dress up for Halloween with them, so I needed to figure out how to go about getting the look I wanted. I've always loved sugar skulls, long before I even knew what they were called or became popular. I had no idea what kind of products I'd even need, much less how to use them. In other "tutorials", they're using professional SFX make-up that's way too far out of my price range, or they don't really tell you how they got the look. I really appreciate that you explained everything nicely!! And I absolutely love the color scheme that you used (I've been kind of stuck on those colors, & even my fingernails have to follow suit)!!
