Why did the Apple Genius’s not resolve this deficiency? This has me considering to downgrade back to an earlier model I phone because I have to have my Car-Play
This is a very bad problem. If you use Waze it will drop out when you need it the most. I drive a lot and Waze CarPlay was a great tool. But it is a real glitch. Nothing will keep it connected. I made the 15?Pro a hotspot and my old phone with no service is connected and USB connected to CarPlay. What a backwards way, to do what I use to do for years, without a glitch. Many people use my Ford Expedition and they used CarPlay with their own phone. It worked the second, the USB was plugged in. The 15 connects instantly too, but will not stay connected. It might stay connected 3 hours or 3 minutes and no message. The last time it dropped out I got static. The screen just freezes and it stops talking.
Works perfectly fine with my current iPhone 15 Pro. Just reset settings and enable Siri plus don’t forget the highlight change your usb c cable. I use Samsung original usb to usb c. Check your software update settings and make sure it is updated to latest version. ❤❤❤❤ thank you!!
I have a Mazda cx30 2024 and it has wireless Bluetooth and I learned while bluetooth CarPlay is on charger will not work but once I take off blue tooth and use CarPlay through the wire it works perfectly fine I think the wireless CarPlay and iPhone being plugged in witch turns on care play makes it trip out lmk if this works for anybody
100% working with USB C to USB A. If your car has USB A port then buy a USB C to USB A cable and try with the iPhone, surely it will work!!! Good luck.
@@ladyplum4851 I had this issue. I purchased the "Belkin BOOST Charge Pro Flex USB-A to USB-C cable. (1M) and sure enough my pro max connects to car play. it acts up every once in a while but I disconnect and reconnect and it works. hope this helps.

You’re wrong about the accessories section. Flipping that switch on actually disables the restriction.

It will work just change the cable or use an usb c to usb a, adapter. But this should be fixed with an Apple software update when they release it

None of these steps work on my 2018 Kia optima turbo. The 12pro max worked fine. This 15 pro max won’t connect car play with no wire connection!!!

It should work with the Mi 2.0 cable (USB to Type C). Instead of Apple car play, it will show as android auto but it works just fine
