    I feel like the current Aprilia RSV4 is selling because of its power and sound, add it’s exotic character, racing dna, and bang for the buck. Put that all together and some of us are risk takers hoping we get that RSV4 that runs with no drama even though we all know there’s a chance it might. You get so many highs.

    I've got the Triumph 1200RR you know. From the above 3, I'd get the BMW. Aprilia sounds awesome but issues. Ducati $$$, my pockets aren't burning 😂 or are they? 😮 My 1200RR is refined and elegant ❤ But yeah the BMW.

      S1K is the safer bike to get.. won’t be in / out of shops all day or ever be afraid of being stranded middle of nowhere. However, it’s prob the least exciting. Trade off 🤷

    I ride Aprilia since 2013 with first a rsv4 then a tuono v4 and seriously I didn`t have more problems then with all my Japanese or American bikes I had before and that`s with over 40k miles ridden hard on both so either I am very lucky or you are unlucky. 2013 RSV4 I had a stator going bad and a cooling fan dying, my 2019 Tuono I had my quick shifter dying under warranty and that`s it.

    Back, aprilia's sound is what sells the bike. Unfortunately mine is back in the shop after 200 miles. Sucks but i have other bike's to ride. Hopefully they get it figured out quick

    Your poll is very biased tho. A lot of your viewers are here because of the rsv4 in the first place. Unfortunately when it comes to actual sales numbers the aprilia isn't even on the same planet as the s1000rr

    Best looking (most extreme), best sounding engine, superb handling that feels better the more you push it and brakes w/ good sensitivity. Can be had for $16 - $17k now or February. That's a mint of money saved!

    I'm hesitating between the RSV4 and the S1000RR. Have the cash, don't know on which one to pull the trigger. I tried both (I tried the RSV4 300km/h on the German highway, super stable). The RSV4 looks better and its engine behavior is super exciting. But it doesn't like to to ride below 55 km/h. The S1000RR is kind of sterile, but it's super fast too, it's more nimble, and you can drive below 55 km/h without any problems... it's a better package on the normal road. OK, you don't buy that kind of bike to drive that slow, but in cities and villages, you don't have a choice... my head says BMW, my heart says Aprilia.... which one shall I listen too.... I don't know yet.

      I said it in my review.. you don’t buy an Aprilia with your head.. you buy with heart.. it’s an emotional decision and emotions always win. GL!

      @@PetroHead I tried a red '23 S1000RR yesterday, with Akra. Everything seemed perfect to me, I won't have to change anything on it, it did not vibrate as did the '22 model I tried a few months ago. It's silky smooth, I bought it. I will regret the great V4 feel and sound, but I'll enjoy the better low speed behavior and the heated grips (I'm in central Europe, it's cold 3/4 of the year and often during the night even when it's summer). And the screening inline 4 doesn't sound bad to my ears either.

     @PetroHead thing is tho mate cant really judge a brand with a bad apple i have friends that have aprilia rsv4's and tuono's up to 25k miles on them with no problems. i have just bought a 23 model rsv4 time attack and hopefully have no problems like you say there is always a chance something is going to happen to it yes but it is the case with most brands as a fellow fireblade enthusiast i can tell you even the hondas go wrong sometime just comes with motorsports

      I have over 30 videos on the RSV4 and have gone through hundreds of comments about people saying the same things I am saying. True all brands have issues but Aprilia is the only one with internal electrical gremlins not even dealers know how to fix, overheating issues, bikes abandoning riders (I wasted $1000 on a track day and it wouldn’t start) and then you have leak issues and on and on.. can’t make this stuff up. That said.. it’s the best V4 (imo) and if they get reliability sorted, Aprilia has very little competition.

      If you have fireblade money.. might as well get the Ducati.. imo it’s the best bike but like I said.. it’s a spicy but expensive Italian meatball $$$ (they have to fund motogp somehow lol)

      @@PetroHead I don’t like Ducati.
      The RSV4 Speed White makes me wet for some reason. S1K seem boring. Blade is the only one that interests me. Any idea how they compare?

    • @PetroHead
      @PetroHead  Год назад +1

      Blade VS RSV4? RSV4 is like being with a stripper.. exotic, exciting and beautiful to look at but will eventually take the kids and leave you… the Blade is like a Harvard grad who is like a 6 or 7.. she’s not as exciting but def marriage material... best analogy I can come up with LOL
      PS: I spent over $1000 on a track day. The RSV didn't want to start. 7 hour round trip ride back home tail between legs felt defeated. smh...
