Me too. three cars totaled. Now I got back mice. Flat back. Neck and spine misalignment and pain.
PT once every two weeks or so helps. Chiro once a month maybe. Recovery takes years honestly and can be lifelong. However improvement is better than getting worse ❤

I am 31 yr old. I have seen on my mri report "relative straightening of the lumbar lordosis". I also have a disc herniations at l4-l5 and l5-s1.
The treatment I've been given are stretches like cobra and core strength exercises like bird dogs and dead bugs.
The pain I have is extreme tightness, soreness, inflammation in low back. Made worse with any flexion or sitting . Please respond and let me know what you think I should do or if you have an idea of how I can find help. I live in south Florida. Coral Springs FL. Thank you for any help.

Hello my wife also shows mild disc bulge in l4 l5 S1, pain is not like sciatica radiating to leg but there is so much tightness in back musules are hard. She can't even bend her spine in flexion while sitting in relax position. Her spine is always remains straight in extension. Whenever she tries to bend the spine or sits in soft surface her spine bend in. Flexion and then pain starts.

@@DrGregKramer thank you so much for the reply. For some reason I've attempted different types of decompression methods and it has always made me feel worse and caused muscle spasm and pain and worsening of symptoms do you know why that may be?
As time has gone on my symptoms have gotten a bit better. Particularly in the nerve type of pain it's gotten better. But It's been 5 months since the injury and it feels as if ive reached a bit of a dead end on recovery. I cannot relive the tightness, soreness lack of mobility inflammation and pain I cannot sit , can't run or jog or move quickly in anyway. No flexion tolerance. Please any input you have is much appreciated

It is a tool that takes a mix of science and art..let me know. Did the doctor combine structural rehab (corrective care) with targeted exercises and Spinal Decompression?
