- Over the last couple of updates the quality of new gear added to the game has been dramatically reduced! T.U. 21 PTS is the latest example of that with one of the worst Gear Sets and 2 extremely situational Exotics that have no use in PvE content!

I just don't understand how a gloves with a buff for something as niche as handling was made an exotic. Do the devs not understand what it means for an item in a LOOTER SHOOTER to be exotic?? At this point they obviously do not care and/or know what to do to make us happy.
Well said my friend 🤙. Grenade launcher can't put a scratch on elites , grenades can only kill red bars on normal difficulty BUT a damn pistol can one shot bosses on the highest lvl's in the game . #1 criteria to be hired by Ubisoft is to hate video games and their community . It's getting worse by the season . The trash they throw out lately ain't funny anymore . Now they take gear sets like TOTS that nobody ever complained about and trash it for no reason . They obviously don't know what to do anymore .
Thank you, I also heard the Tux video conversation on the topic and your correct on all the points you made. Most of the stuff is trash the last few seasons. Why, we can only speculate. Time and resources low? not enough of a team to made new and exciting gear? People working on game that don't play or understand the game enough? It's all guesses. Just trying to keep us busy till some real content comes out? LOL Maybe a mix of all of them ;) I like your channel ! That's the good news. Keep up the good work :)
Absolutely right tbh, this is another let down season. And i still don't think they'll listen but heres hoping. Personally id like this set to drop with weapon damage not just rifle/mmr so we can use what we like and have more diversity. Also probably amp damage as atm its so weak. But i doubt they'll listen.

Just not sure it’s fair to compare a build with glass cannon to a gearset without it without mentioning that some of the performance gap could be explained by the amp damage and additional incoming damage from that, that the new gear set doesn’t have.
Still, I agree that it’s largely 💩 just like the past couple seasons have been. Palisades and HB were decent but that’s about all I can say. Also, I realize that there’s not really a great talent besides GC on a red build for rifles, so that makes it harder to compare too.

Thank you for your complete honesty Fam. This new gear set is trash. My Bakers rifle build hits way harder. The time to kill is way to slow. All we want is the LVOA and M4 Assault rifles back and put predatory talent back in the game, which the could put on a chest piece, on the walkers for instance. But again, enjoyed the video man, and again ggs for you honesty.
Instead of being trying to be a damage rifle set (we can already can get crazy damage for rifle/mmr), it should have done something different. Maybe something like critical hits have a chance to deal direct health damage, ignoring armor.
I like your perspective on this. Allow me to offer you another. Like you said, underwhelming seasons, no due diligence into what does what. It's because this game is on life support. The company is keeping this alive to get money from those who choose to spend money in the shops. I played this agonizing game since first day of DIV 1. The amount of issues and disappointments is no secret, yet it has fans. I was one of them.
Now you can wait patiently for DIV 3. But I'm warning you.... If map breaks up the DZ/ If the gear and brand sets are just redressed copies of what has already been made/ If the Global Events are similar... then its not DIV 3, its a money grab. (Like HEARTLAND was going to be.) For all of our sakes I hope for another great DIVISION game; but I'm not going to deceive myself. This is not a company making games because they enjoy making great iconic games. This is a company with a product. Once they figure out how to do the minimum and earn profit, they win.

They don’t really seem to care. I just hope that all this new gear that doesn’t seem to fit great with the current game will turn out to be useful after the upcoming changes in year 6 and with the new DLC

The stupid red gloves are for the stupid blue builds players that are sitting at the back of the room with blind fire shooting. Now, they have a piece that will make them hit the target at 50%. And yes...like the previous season the new items are really trash. They can save the Point Break if the 3 pieces will give 30% Damage to armor and 30% damage to targets out of cover (lower down if it is too much). Or at lest 30% damage to armor on the vest and 30% Damage to out of cover for the backpack. And, instead of using a lot of weapon handling on crappy weapons we will always use the better alternatives always. And also: why not making the fucking Ninja backpack in such a way that when you create a green set or yellow set with it, KEEP THE BACKPACK TALLENT of that green set or yellow (if it has a named version). In this way you can end up with multiple backpack talents active or (if it is too much) forcing you to choose 1. If they will do this, That Ninja backpack will be something.
You're correct. The boost to dmg isn't nearly enough to make rifles good. Like you said, it would need to be at least 30% or just rework all the rifles but I think an o.p. gear set for rifles would be a quicker fix. They are holding back on gear for a weapon set that needs every advantage it can get.
Devs should just work into balancing the game instead of adding new useless equipment. DZ PVO should feel like Conflict PVP instead of an unbalanced Ouroboros fest.

Am all for w.handling, but all have said We need newTalents chests and backpacks for rifles for the love of god, everything looks so lazy and lacking of effort. Exotics are absolutely joke and dev don't even listen, worst part is knowing that nobody is using ,they not willing to do changes WTF!!!!!!!!! What is the point of creating something wasting time. Why can we have new w.handling on holster why always has to be gloves or kneepads, Diamond changes are no good enough come on is exotic make a difference. Ravenous has inconsistent r.of fire for long time no one cares wtf, we send video notes to. Dev nothing not even in Trello board😢

No need to feel so far behind. Division 2 can be played solo for 95% of its content. Set your own pace and your own goals and you will enjoy it regardless.

'since you dont show your All Weapon Damage i have to guess it is 105% and your Rifle damage 30%
'18 rounds give 36% AWD
(1 + 105% + 30% + 36%)/(1 + 105% + 30%)' which equals an 15% Amp
'a rifle with a 30 rnd Mag gives 60% AWD
(1 + 105% + 30% + 60%)/(1 + 105% + 30%)' which equals an 26% amp
'Do it again and then talk numbers
Yeah seriously.
I even did the same test with the M16 rifle with a 62 magazine size. If with 100% accuracy, so 62 stacks, it still hits lower.
Great numbers and all, you just forgot the most important part and that's how many shots you can actually land out of a 50 or even 100 round magazine.
Download the PTS test this for yourself and come back when you realize how shitty of a gear set this it.
Also, if you remove the chestpiece talent you instatly lose 33% of your buffs overall DPS since you reduce its duration by 1/3.
Well, I don't care that much about the new set as I will not use rifles in this game anyway. There also is no need for additional gear sets or weapons.....I want more content...
Imo:
Acostas knees should stack with other movement speed bonuses and the duration of the movement speed buffs should be longer, like at least 5 seconds,
speed debuffs on the new shotgun should be greater.
New brand set should have 5% higher ammo capacity and the rifle damage should be higher.
New gear set should be able to continue stacking on itself, get rid of the MMR damage and put weapon handling in 2 piece bonus, 3 piece should have critical hit damage.
Chest piece talent should double up the stacks per shot rather than increase the duration of the bonus or change the stacking to also add on critical hit damage.
Bag talent should be from 2% to 4% per each stat buff on both weapon handling and weapon damage ( and if it has critical hit damage bonus as well increase that from 2% to 4% as well)
New brazen talent should have another function beyond just providing amp damage, like potentially movement speed or bonus armor ( would love to see a high end weapon talent that grants bonus armor)

I’ve tested 2 more. One of them had 62 rounds. Still loses to a red build
I'm going to be that guy that sticks up for the mega corporation that doesn't care for me and doesn't need my help. I think the devs play the game on normal difficulty because that to them is the normal way to play. The balance they make is based off of normal difficulty at least for the PvE side and those of us playing on heroic and legendary aren't playing the game the normal way.
I feel your pain, but it is a video game meant to be some form of entertainment.

The problem I have with this game, is the flooded loot pool, where only about 10% of items are used, and 98% of loot is garbage. The devs need to do spring cleaning on the loot pool and get rid of items the majority of the experienced player base (DAY 1 players) don't use and have zero use for. Instead, season after season we get more JUNK gear that nobody asked for, and definitely not from Div 2 dev team which consistsntly screws up more than they fix. Maps are old. Descent is bs. Summit gets old because loot is abyssmal for the effort and time put in. Countdown is boring. DZ is garbage and still has cheaters. Conflict is garbage. Legendaries are boring. Simply put, we dont need another season of half assed dev effort so they can keep charging us for seasons that get wimpier and more played out each season. The season pass is ONLY 100 levels which a dedicated player will knock out waaaay before the rest of the boring GE Events, Leagues, ect end. The devs are garbage at their own game, so why does anyone expect THEM to fix or improve anything, especially when they show how incompetent they are anytime they "try".

To be honest, you may be right on some items as the lack of new content (especially missions in the game, even if there are some new contents on those last seasons (incursion, descent, new leagues) but you are very negative on the set and new exotics (this is just a PTS...so that could be changed), also those only 2 builds you are showing might be a lack of creativity... do you just want to show the worst of yourself or do you want te be creative and a little positive...?
I was covering the game during it's worst phase, back when nobody even knew if there would ever be new content. Back when most content creators moved to other games.
Don't tell me I show the worst of myself because I called a dogshit gear set exactly what it is, a dogshit gearset that nobody is going to use.
If you don't like my negativity feel free to never watch me again, I'll speak my mind no matter what. There are a bunch of ubisoft partner content creators who act like the biggest fanboys about the smallest change in the game and never provide any honest feedback because they are afraid ubisoft won't like them and they will remove them from their "program"
As for my "lack of creativity", feel free to demonstrate a build with the new gear set that hits harder than a 5 year old red build.
Starting to believe most of these delusional content creators and fans don't understand why we aren't supposed to even get St. ELMO, scorpio, and momento tier lvl exotics all the time. The new gearset is good to build diversity on what players are using. This was never a run and gun focused game and the pvp is trash. Them finally prioritizing Rifles again actually show they have been listening to the community. As someone that constantly uses raw glass cannon dps over strikers, this game needs a new meta shift. I don't mind my ars, but yall just dont know how to adapt.
All this game needs is a next gen update. Not no heartland or division 3
This will be another boring season for The Division. None of this season or next have anything fun tp try. I nor any of my friends play with rifles. And the exotic shotguns are a waste of time. I may have to dust Destiny 2 off.
