- I assumed the C-Class would be somewhat of a lower-caliber luxury car given its position toward the bottom of Mercedes' premium sedan lineup, but I was wrong.

Got mine last week couldn’t be happier very nice car
Really nice car. For $57K it makes its case as a mini s-class. Whereas an A4 for $44K comes across as a nicely appointed GTI in a sedan body.
The base price for a Mercedes C Class is 43,550 in the US. That car has a lot of the bells and whistles on it.
@@CAS482 good point. I would option the 4matic premium, head steering wheel, acoustic glass. Keep it under $50K

Will it break down right after the warranty expires, or before that? Horrible ride quality going over that small bump! The Infiniti QX-60 was much more refined.

Bentley Mulsanne (discontinued after 2020) was the most obvious. Things get a little murky beyond that. MB S Class Maybach would compete with the RR Ghost and Bentley Flying Spur, at least how I see it. Then at the "bottom tier" (lol) you have the regular S Class, 7 Series, A8, LS, and G90.

Super nice interior, but technology wise I think it’s lacking for the price tag.
