KLLM
@@OverTheRoadATS I hear swift has some major load but not the best pay
These are all terrible companies. How much were you paid for this?
I personally love Knight Transportation. Paid while going to cdl school, has a top gun program learning more backing and other useful driving skills, training with a trainer 2-3 weeks. Va benefits while you go solo. 27 terminals across country. Newer trucks, driver is in charge of hometime with no questions asked
Knight sounds like they really care about their drivers and want to ensure you succeed.
Best Trucking RUclips Channel. Hands down. Professionally produced and informative content. I know where I’m going after I get my flatbed OTR experience. ATS
Thanks for the watch, we're so happy you enjoyed the video! ATS offers flatbed training if you're currently hauling vans. Give us a call if you're interested: (866) 277-1033
@@OverTheRoadATS how many experience do I need to apply for flatbed ?
Thank you for the information very useful
thank you for this helpful information
Glad it was helpful! Thanks for watching!
Thank you guys so much
Thanks for watching!
I have over a year of experience but I didn't not maintain my medical and surrendered my class a. Gotta start over but the extra training will be beneficial. It's only a matter of a few weeks and I'll be back in the saddle
It's great to hear about your positive attitude towards starting over and getting back into the swing of things. Sometimes a fresh start can bring new opportunities and growth. You're absolutely right that the extra training will only add to your skill set and make you even more valuable in the long run. Best of luck with your journey ahead - a few weeks will fly by, and you'll be back in the saddle before you know it!
I can't believe they didn't say Werner, which is one of the biggest training companies there is. Roehl is the best out of all of them. They have a very good training program, good pay, they have one of the best safety ratings in the industry, and have won the President's safety award numerous times.
What about CFI and Millis Transfer? I’ve heard Great things about those two companies. I’m looking to get into Trucking and wondering why you left those two off? Thanks for the video
This list is just a few of the well-known training companies out there. Companies like CFI also have a good reputation for training.
What about pay and if hub or household goods miles
Sorry, not sure I understand your question.
I have 11 months of experience. I miss driving and looking for a local or regional positions...
Why did you stop driving? Where do you live?
@@OverTheRoadATS my last employer was overstaffed and let employees go. I live in the Florida area. Currently looking for a local or regional position. If you know of one please let me know.
@@popclutch_100 XPO, YRC, FedEx, UPS, A. Duie Pyle. Thing is you gotta get all your endorsements but it’s definitely worth it.

Where are you looking to drive truck?
Are you kidding?? This is literally a list of the worst trucking companies to work for. There are better companies that hire fresh CDL graduates, some offer company-sponsored CDL school or tuition reimbursement as well:
Roehl - Has CDL school that pays while you’re IN school.
Paper Transport - hires CDL grads
Pride - hires CDL grads
Tyson - hires CDL grads
* You’re high if you don’t look at those 4 above 1st. *
* I’d consider all the carriers below before all the carriers in this crazy video…except maybe swift…maybe. *
CFI
Hirschbach
Werner
JB Hunt
NFI
Maverick (flatbed)
Melton (flatbed) - never heard anyone say a single bad thing about this carrier
Thanks for your comment! I appreciate your perspective and the alternative trucking companies you suggested for new CDL graduates. Each driver has different preferences and experiences, so it's valuable to have a range of options to consider. Thank you for sharing your insights, and I hope this exchange helps others looking for the best trucking companies.
Do female do truck driver jobs,i wish I can get the opportunity
While there may be plenty of men in the industry, females are welcome with an equal opportunity and no pay gap! Do you have your CDL?
I don't have CLD yet

Swift: Sure Wish I Finished Training 🤣
Sir, the first 6 you mentioned suck. Useless Xpress no longer trains, period. Schneider is still decent for what it is. The rest...don't bother!
Hey David, thanks for the watch. This list as comprised of the best places to either get your CDL or gain more experience. U. S. Xpress does train through a company called Sage Truck Driving School:
www.sageschools.com/usxpress-truck-driving-school/
Where did you get your CDL training? I’m trying to get mine
@@OverTheRoadATS That may be, but they will not send you out with a road trainer unless you are on a driver hand load / unload account.
I lease from prime training students for 30k miles I make 4-5k a week take home at 24 years old no complaints with this company A lot of people talk down on Prime but just don’t know 😎😂

7 best???? more like the 7 worst
Hey Al, this video is about the best carriers for new drivers, which means the companies that take drivers with no experience. You have to go to one of these companies first to earn your CDL or get experience.
What companies do you recommend?
@@Gunna5star if you like to work your but off and the weather is not a problem get a flat bed and go to Melton in Tulsa.
if you just want to drive go to Road Master in Orlando or Pride Transport in Utah Just stay away from CRST, People in prison eats and live better. Swift will make you famous at boonehead drivers.
@@AL-xg7tr do you have recommendations? in Dallas Texas & san Fransisco CA.
@@yaamahaar9245 do you have any experience? Do you like the idea of a flat bed? Single or team, give me some info about what you want
I'm new driver and I'm beginning with a mom and pop company offering great benefits, pay is too good for traing alone, the pay is sky high better than the mega carriers 600 to 900 per week for training They give health, medical, dental, vision, 401k & a nice sign on bonus. The hire process was not as excruciating as a meg carrier, once i cleared checkr & my mvr came in I was hired. There are 22 trucks in total at this company & they have brand new 21 and 22 petes and kens governed at 75mph with apu & all of the works. Some companies didn't want to pay all of the traveling expenses to fly out but this one has. Exiting time. The owner is a cool guy and the wife is awesome, I'm happy I'm not starting out with a mega carrier for how they treat drivers. If it's as awesome as I think it is than ill remain put for long range with a family oriented company that helps their drivers become oo's. I'll remain a Company driver a few years or until the economy surcharges fall but to build my 401 with this company with out the bounce around of trying to get comfortable so many times as I've done outside of trucking & like my driving school trainer did in his 32 year career & he told me that he did and messed with his retirement plan for to long. Wish me luck 🙏
Good luck!
Can I ask the name of this company? My trucking journey begins in January and I want to start out with a great company right out of the gate so I can stay put for the long haul :)
What's the name of the Company I like to apply.
