Apparently most of Y’all commenting didn’t actually watch the video so I’ll TLDR it for you: Fuck ton of bugs, no fixes for prominent issues like team sizes, copy paste/lazy subtree and top tier premiums, a lack of substantial content outside of Fox-3, and increased BR compression for planes facing Fox-3 aircraft which don’t receive them
In all honesty I don't know what its like at your BR I am constantly having to switch between different factions through the nurfs and buffs while griding... will get there however seems like they buff the least brought premium aircraft to create FOMO to increase revenue and it kinda works guess good for them.
At the end when Freezed is saying the bad things about the game, it sounds like the ending of a medicine commercial with all the side effects being "You can have a brain bleed, you can break a bone, you can pass out and die"
you know i've been playing top tier for a long time now, and whatever happened to a good old fashioned dogfight at top tier?, since nowadays people rely too heavily i think on their missiles and when they get thrown into an actual dogfight with someone who knows what they're doing they get absolutely destroyed

I feel like War Thunder will suffer with higher tech vehicles unlike the way DCS does. In DCS there's a lot more to lose if you die. In War Thunder, its always about easing the grind.
I think to combat missiles such as fox 3’s they should do something like DCS where certain armaments are banned in game modes like only banning fox 3’s so vehicles without them such as uptiers or stock grinds. It would also introduce a new style of fighting that has t been seen in these planes.
I wish there’s a option to disable ARH guidance or IRCCM assistance on missiles in custom battles without banning 13.0. That would fix the update for me. I don’t like constant ARH spam in custom battles.

You don't want to get to top-tier. Early jets are just llike props with bigger max speed, korean war jets are the peak of jets gameplay (even though you start to see some missiles), the rest of it is simply brain dead gameplay. War Thunder was created to host sub sonnic planes / jets with no missiles, that's why toptier isn't fun because the gameplay hasn't changed (same goes with ground toptier)
i personally quite like this update in terms of gameplay but i can understand how people hate it if they don't find BVR fun, and the stock grind is worse than it's ever been which is really saying something

Vextra is kinda eh, I wish it had the correct gun/round to actually make it usable at top tier, BeNe is mostly copy and paste, but the XM800T is pretty cool
@@freezedvegetal The round is just ok, you have enough pen to go trough the usual weakspots but there's no spall damage, it's like firing APCR. For the BeNeLux it simply made the french grind more bearable just like the finnish sub tree. Overall a nice update but for a "major" update it's mid. Should've reworked more the gameplay and balance before adding fox-3 (wich they did just 2 days ago in their own fashion)
