Describing war thunder as an abusive relationship is such a perfect way to describe it. Most of the matches i play i end up hating, wondering why I'm even playing this game. But even though i hate i can't go more than a few days without logging back on. I'm truly trapped. And i'm not even close to top tier yet!
War Thunder is like an abusive partner, you both hate each other but also love each other for just a few moments. Then after a few years you finally cut them out from your life.

Honestly if they removed the reduction in RP you gain from researching vehicles 2+ ranks higher than the vehicles you're using i'd be so much happier with the grind. It means i can stick to playing tanks i want to like the Panzer 4 instead of having to play 7.0 Germany and getting my ass blasted by constant uptiers against cold war tanks that slice through my entire lineup of slow heavy tanks
This was truly an experience, such an experience that i even liked and subscribed. (I rarely do this so that means that this is a very good video and i enjoyed) 14/10

As a player of over 3700h. Don't play to grind, don't play for top tier, don't play for completion. It would be impossible to spade everything for free and there's no reason to own and spade everything, find the tanks that you like a skip past the ones you know you'd probably not like. People who play the game for top tier are ruining their experience and are a root cause of many of this game's issues, we're not gonna sit here and blame Gaijin (a company) for making money when you (the customer) don't put your money where your mouth is.
Playing realistic battles does give you more rewards but the matches take longer and you definetly dont have as much fun. What im saying is, arcade battles are just as rewarding because they are faster paced that means i can complete two games in arcade vs one realistic game.
The absolute damage Maxor has done to the flow and editing of videos is unparalleled.
