You are my superwoman, Madalyn. I am also a first-generation Vietnamese-American student and this year is my last year in high school. I’m currently applying to college and there’s not a moment during my application process where I don’t remember that my education and future success is symbolic of both mine and my parent’s hard work. School is so tough but my parents have gone through more than I can ever imagine. I can’t wait to climb to greater heights of success and pursue the opportunities my parents have given me by immigrating to the U.S.
I feel that pressure with you, my love, but remember to give yourself a little grace in the process as well. Academic success, a typical career, etc, aren't everything, you just have to pursue what you love and what makes you truly happy. Your parents love you and will ultimately be happy if they recognize that you are :) Best of luck!

Hi! I'm currently fourteen years old girl, just had my birthday last September 7! Sorry for the weird and unnecessary intro but...yeah. So... I really really want to become a doctor! Like, it's been my dream ever since I was probably a fetus lol. I find your videos really inspiring and spirit-lifting(?), sorry XD english really isn't my first language. Anyways I'm currently in 9th grade junior highschool and I find the change in learning environment really depressing and unmotivating. I even started to question my dreams of becoming a doctor! Stuff like self-doubt started to surface and I always found myself crying to sleep every night, it was just bad. So I wanted to bring back my motivation and get rid of all the depressing thoughts and just as I was doing so, I found your channel! Thank you for bringing back my motivation and for teaching me how to smile so brightly despite all of the bad things. I really really found your smile so motivating, because imagine, your life is much more tiring and stressful compared to mine but you can still manage to pull-off such bright smile. Aww hehe thank you! It's basically a generalist. They're hospitalists who manage patients in the hospital and coordinate care between the different specialties, but they can also practice as PCPs outpatient!

I’m in my 3rd year now and I kinda have an opportunity to get into research (this year or next year) but the thing is I have absolutely no idea on how to do it or how to write a paper. Would really really appreciate it if you help/throw some light on the topic
Oh gosh haha I'm no expert, but a lot of journals will have templates/guides for how to write a certain article, so I'd start there!
