I have a question! How do you take care of your dog while doing such long shifts? Love your videos!
The doc I work with crates for 12 hours then releases the pet after his shift. The dog loves his crate!

I've been feeling low lately bc nursing school's been taking a toll, I'm halfway through my course and I haven't had any clinical exposure yet and watching Dr. Madalyn's vlogs always reminds me of why I took up a course in the medical field.

Endocrinology RN here! Side note about your dog, I would recommend switching their diet to a raw chicken only diet. Their GI issues will vanish and they will be super healthy! My dog had a lot of GI issues and we switched over to only raw chicken, everything went back to normal, plus his pancreas appreciates the absence of starches and such in his diet!
Add some turmeric, yogurt and coconut oil to his food, all organic in Kofu's food. Digestive issue is mostly their commercial food.
What does your dog do when you are in the or or working? I am looking to be a cardiologist with a husky so am wondering what he does when your away for a while.

sometimes I heat up milk and then add cereals on to the spoon so they don't lose any crunch XD

So my friend is a surgical tech in a hospital in california.
She has been written up three times for attendance now by a supervisor who does not like her at all, twice because she had to have actual surgery and needed time off and the first time because of a silly misunderstanding.
So she just had surgery couple days ago and has called in not able to work, supervisor wrote her up and now HR sent a message saying she was on an adminastrive leave and they'd contact her next week?
Can they just fire her?
What should she do?
Does she have any rights?
She didnt just pour in milk before putting in the cereal NOOOOOO

Madalyn question! What are the differences between a Nurse practitioner and a register nurse? I’ve been watching the resident 🤭 and the NP wears a white coat like doctors.
Nurse practitioners can also prescribe medicine rather than just administering it. They go through 2 extra years of school instead of 4 in med school while a registered nurse needs bachelors degree only. All are very important. Don't know much but hopefully that helps. Internet is also a good source

Hi, am a nursing student. And, when I wear a mask a get dizzy, can't concentrate, ... feeling terrible. Couldn't finish my clinical hours. So now at clinical I wear it under the nose and that makes it so much better but am worried that I won't get hired because of that. i only have one year left until graduation. Do you have any advice? Do you wear it all the time? Thank you! :)
