I would hate to have a third business party, knowing everything about my health life. Doctors should do that since they only spend 15m with the patient, this will not make doctors stay longer with the patient anyway. Also why someone would do something so serious to very small payment, this is a full time job. You are home but you will have no time to go to school. Also not available to go after another job. It is just another away to a third business get money from the provider.
Also you clearly don't know how time demanding it's to write your own notes, I'm a MD from ecuador, and in 15 minutes it's a nightmare do all the typing, and entering orders, you have just a couple of minutes to do physical examination, and is not really comfortable to speak to your patient while all you are doing it's typing stuff on the PC, so yeah scribing it's truly important, wish I could afford a scribe lol
okay so I'm studying how to do soap notes and I can totally relate with the patient's condition here. We almost have the same complains lol

Many people use scribing as a job to learn about medicine and eventually become a doctor, physician assistant or nurse.
