My wife bought this seat and like most it came in 2 parts. I’m a certified car seat installer with my State and even I was stumped on how to connect the two pieces. After seeing this video was unhelpful, I laid the seat pieces flat on the floor, put the connector pieces over each other and pushed down till they clicked together, I then put all my weight on the top piece (where baby’s back goes) to keep them together and pulled up on the seat part. It finally clicked together where it’s supposed to go but it sounded like I broke it when it finally clicked in.
I finally did and separated the below piece from the “body”. Different from other kinds, you cannot tilt and it simple split it. No no, you need to pull it up. However a generous amount of strength it’s necessary. What I did: I put my hand between the pieces on the side (below the “wing”), and tried to pulled it. I noticed that it came a little bit up, so I took a piece of wood and put between the pieces so it won’t come back. Did the same on the other side. After the pieces went a little up, I put it on the ground and smash it with my foot, so it went a little bit up until it split. Took me about half hour to do it. Just leaving a message so you get hope if you’re trying to do it. Or if you’re looking to buy one, consider it not. Too much work hehe
Got it for our toddler when she was 13m (now two), we loved it so much we got it again for our nb when he's ready to transition out of the pumpkin seat

I got mine today all I did was tilt it in then push gently it didn’t click but it’s in it Dosent move at all
