I will update of course if I have any issues with this carseat but I don't think I will. Also it is surprisingly lightweight, the handle feels secure unlike my previous EvenFlo that was gifted to us. I'm not sure why they went this way with the seat, but I will say its tight and comfy. This video is absolutely spot on. For Gabbie who found this confusing, sorry but its basically 4 instructions, choose either your lab and belt or use the Latch method. Yes, I agree, the method the model uses is a bit odd, but once you done it works well.

Definitely not easy or convenient. My partner purchased this seat without reading any reviews which was her first mistake regarding this stupid seat.
Could you make a video explaining to new moms like me to even put this thing together? Like literally out of the box? Mine won't connect from the booster part and the top piece all together from the little latch part thingy... and I've followed the directions. My husband has even tried to do this and can't do it.
I cannot get mine together either and I am about to put it back in the darn box and return it to Walmart!!! The instruction manual and this video does not show how to even get the 2 pieces together. It it not rocket science. Ridiculous.

Hi, I have a six year old, who is currently using back booster mode , she outgrew the 5 point harness. So we are using the lap belt to secure her and strap her in. I brought it to a fire station who is suppose to be car seat certified. They did not secure the car seat or latch in in any way what's so ever. They just simply placed the seat in my car...and told me to use the lap belt to buckle her in. They said the car seat doesn't need to be secured or latched in the car because she s using the seat belt. This makes me nervous it's not strapped in , in anyway. Just resting on the cars seat. Is this correct?

If you don’t run the bottom strap around the like the seat belt, like just threw the back. It will never be tight enough and the car seat always moves. As for the top tether I have found a vehicle that it will get tight in. From the anchor and the chip it is always too long. Ugh explaining the problems is a messy as putting this thing in.
This seat is very hard to instal and the directions are terrible. The straps are not long enough either and are always too tight to get my children in even when they are extended all the way. These seats were a waste of money until they are big enough to use just the booster. This video is a lifesaver for installing in the car though. Thank you.

Is this professional installation or just a random person doing their own tutorial?? Not to be rude but why would anyone ever put the straps through the front of the carseat like that especially when theres a places for it to simply just go through the back of the carseat
We just bought this car seat and it’s going right back. Absolutely awful to install and even after watching you installation video, the side to side movement from the shoulders and head area is completely unsafe. No knock to you, but this car seat was poorly designed and appears as if their testing was minimal on different car manufacturers. 10/10 would not put my child in this seat.

For anyone else having this problem, I just got it in, and it requires some wiggling and putting your full weight on it. Agreed. It’s a nuisance.

Just bought this carseat and I literally cannot attach the back to the base, at all. It will not go in at all. Wish someone could help. lol

This is how the seat is to be installed per the manufacturer. It's a very difficult and confusing install.
