That whole scene with the mask was so powerful.
That’s his REAL face right there.
Exactly
Precisely....His embodiment in totality under the Mask serves as his whole evil being that in whom; whomever he encounters is (in their last gasps) is faced with....”
Kinda cheesy but good.
The ending is full on popcorn cheese
I thought it was kinda stupid only because I can’t picture him going to the car... unlocking the trunk and looking for his mask. Took me out of it. are we supposed to think he really went and searched for the mask?
@@MC_1993 He went and searched for a mask when he escaped from the hospital back in 1978. Do you think the mask would just fall out of the sky and into his hands?
I think the most brutal part of the whole scene is the fact he used Aaron’s head and face to break open the door latch. Unreal...
Aaron couldnt help Dana anymore because he was dying the whole scene is horrfying!
It’s like you want to hide in the stall I will smash Aaron’s face into the stall and open it. Brutal!!!!!

You guys are overthinking a slasher movie scene.
This is hilarious. Lol
So agreed Andy! When all else fails use your opponent to open things.
Forty years later. Still one of the scariest guys ever to exist
Evil never ages or die Michael is pretty much immortal unless you chop his head off other than that you can only put him in a coma
Personally I think that goes to Vlad the impaler
I didn't afraid of Michael. Jason is more even terrifying.
Exactly, I think what made Michael so terrifying was that he was human but all the things he did was something a normal human wouldn't pull off such as inhuman strength and his mysterious ability to just vanish
@@VARJAGAMINGENTERTAINMENT We don’t care about Jason, especially when he’s based off of Michael Myers.
Aaron’s attempt and failure to “fight” Michael Myers always gets me. You really don’t have a chance…
Unless you’re Corey in the House.
at least he landed a hit on his face; any normal man would have felt immense pain/dizziness
That was still a nasty hit with the crowbar. Would’ve dropped any regular human
@@aft5264 Well Michael is not really a normal human
@@Gnybr yea but Aaron didn’t really know that. All he knew was that Michael was some guy who killed 3 people 40 years ago

Dude was so beaten and battered that he was completely helpless to defend her.
It was a big mistake to carry the William Shatner mask with you if it belongs to M. Myers ....the biggest Shatner fan on Earth. :D
Right
Only reason Michael was able to find them because that mask is like a supernatural force telling Michael where they are
The biggest mistake was going to visit micheal but to bring the mask too.
Yeah and they taunted him with the mask in his hands that’s not nice.
The love of a true fan never dies😌

Yep. Michael is so strong. all you can do is just think about what’s happening…..little by little after each hit
Aaron's death is meaningless to the pure essence of evil within Michael myers
The fact that a few of you admitted you hated those two but still wouldn't have wished that death on them or your worst enemy says they did more things right.

Some people get frozen by trauma during fear so that’s probably what happened to her.
@@AfroAmerican8499 True, but damn lol
This is mostly because of adrenaline. In a situation like this you either don’t think twice and just save yourself, or you freeze in shock. It may look stupid but it’s how it works.
She could ran while her friend was getting killed
I thought it was a powerful scene. Imagine being the dude getting his head busted and then thrown on the floor to watch his woman get choked out, and he can't help her. Saw this at the movies. Powerful scene
Dan Wilson I don’t know if they were together, I just thought they were reporter partners
Nah, I saw a deleted scene that made it very clear they were lovers. 😛
Sloth Chunk just seen it and I agree. The creepy shower scene with him wearing the mask
nahh hes uselesss, that knocked head doesnt that much forceful, still conscious and cant even help her hmmmmm
Aaron, RIP, would have lost consciousness after just one of those blows to the head if it were real life. Being a lunatic, Michael probably could’ve kept fighting after Aaron’s initial hit. If Aaron could’ve cracked him twice in the head, he could’ve stopped the whole thing right there. Especially if we are dealing with fhe 1978 version of Michael who gets knocked out if a sewing needle goes into his neck. 40 years rotting away, not exercising, and I’m sorry. Mike’s cardio and strength would be a lot less. Add to that the effect of antipsychotic meds, and we’ve got a dry mouthed, hypotensive mute. But I digress since we watch these movies to get away from reality.
Imagine if audiences got THIS Michael back in 78 😳
Laurie would've not survived then.
it was brutal by 1978's standards...
@@jjrj8568 no doubt. They’d be running out the theater though for this one. Especially after Michael emerges from the burning house in kills

John Carptenter's goal was achieved. Ditch the Rob Zombie's shit that polluted the public and get back to what Michael Myers really is. This movie completely captured the brutality and evil of the Michael we were used to seeing.

I loved hearing his breathing once he put on the mask
I can't get over this scene, I love it! That crowbar shot to the face didn't do jack! 61 year old Michael still got it! Evil never ages!

@@spookypapi_45 yeah thats very very VERY likely the case. But its just.. arin looked like he was hanging on after that, he was keeping his eyes open but then yeah.. enough head trauma leads to unconsciousness, not to mention if the brain is bleeding then well you're in trouble.
@@spookypapi_45 - Actually I used to work with people who have sustained traumatic brain injuries. You would be surprised by how much trauma a human head can take, and the person still survive. I worked closely with this one patient who had been in a vicious motorcycle accident while not wearing a helmet. At approximately 45-50 mph, he was thrown from the bike, and his body smashed headfirst into a concrete column (that was part of an overpass), and then he fell to the ground while the back of his head slammed into the asphalt road. Unbelievably, he survived. That being said, he had a very, very, very long road to recovery (and never fully recovered), and he has never been the same since. And even the doctors said that this was nothing short of a miracle. So, while I agree that the Aaron Korey character, more than likely, would have been killed by the ass kicking Myers gave him , there could be a slight possibility that he is still alive. Emphasis on the word "slight."
Great scene. This is the real Michael Myers.
Agree this scene was awesome.
In my opinion, this is the more violent scene

I remember going into this movie thinking that the actor that played Aaron was going to have a huge part in this movie and boy was I wrong lol.
I thought the same. Was a total surprise
So did Aaron die, or did he pass out? They are making another movie so he could come back right?
I'm pretty sure he died a head injury that forceful will cause head or brain damage
But who knows someone said that we didn't see his body get carried out so there is a chance he will come back in the sequel
Nah, he’s dead.
His role in the story, as well as Dana’s, is pretty much what TV Tropes calls the “unwitting instigator of doom”.
Without meaning to, they helped provoke an unstoppable force of pure evil into coming back and continuing his rampage, and they paid for it with their lives.
Also, with how badly Michael bashes his head repeatedly Aaron must have suffered a fractured skull and even brain damage. He likely bled out externally AND internally.

You know, I'm not sure Aaron died here. The last we see of him he's bleeding pretty bad, but he's still moving and blinking. They also never show his body, so it's very possible he could have survived. If Loomis could survive an explosion in Halloween 2, I don't think it's outside the realm of possibility that Aaron survived.
Eeeeeh. Questionable at best. You could make the same argument for michael considering his body wasn't seen when the house burned down.

@@ctaylor2805no that was aaron
Who else is bummed Aaron didn't return in Ends?
intense scene. This is Michael Myers.
Aaron must had been Thor in his past life with that crowbar.
Alright, I need some opinions here. I have a friend who seems to be convinced that, although the character Dana Haines is obviously killed in this scene, the character Aaron Korey is not. I thought he was nuts until I re-watched the scene multiple times, and I have to say, the last time we see Korey, he definitely looked as if he might still be alive. I'm sure he was hurting like nobody's business, and was probably in very critical condition, but he does appear to still be alive. However, even if this is true, and he was still alive when we last saw him, I have to believe that the injuries he sustained, especially the blunt force trauma to the head, at best, would leave him with some serious brain damage (and he probably would need a wheelchair or something for the rest of his days). My point being this: Unlike my friend, even if Korey is still alive, I do not see him making any more appearances in Halloween Kills or Halloween Ends, other than maybe a newspaper article detailing the attack, or something along those lines. My friend is convinced that we'll see him again in some capacity. I am not.
Like you said, even if he was alive, he would live like a vegetable. Also, Michael don't like to leave any business unfinished, so he might have killed him off-screen as well.
I’m sure he would have severe traumatic brain injury. The long term effect could range from someone completely dependent on others for everything, unconscious, never moving or waking again to someone who could appear normal by most accounts, but be off with emotional regulation or other subtle things.
But Aaron should’ve lost consciousness after one of those slam dunks he made with his head. I can’t believe how they made him conscious at the end of the scene.
2:35 If I was in the situation of that woman I would've opened the door while Micheal was occupied and either used the crowbar to attack him or run away.
I know it's easy to say, when you aren't in the situation, but it sounds way more terrifying to me to stay in a small enclosure, that could opened with relative ease and no help around to save you, than to swing a crowbar at somebody with full force, while another person still has enough health to fight against them with you.
Michael was like Rorshack, give me my face!!!!
Lol!
