- What’s good RUclips? Today I showed you guys how to get Clear Vocals in Garageband iOS. This was done by using a preset I made for vocals. This preset in versatile and works in all genres.
IMPORTANT UPDATE: I changed my IG name to @yggrich and no longer go by “garagebandking”.

@@YGGRICH I agree with gini I can vouch for this myself when I first started rapping I didn’t like for anyone else to be in the room but the more you do it the more confidence you’ll build now when I’m recording I just let everyone hear me but you first have to build that confidence within yourself and the rest is history my boy 🙏🏾

Honestly bro, I've been so focused on writing lyrics and tryna get my voice right, I haven't been able to really work on learning GarageBand as much as I should. You probably just saved me a ton of time with this. I have an iPad pro, a scarlett 2i2, and an okay mic. I bet I'll finally be able to get decent vocals with your advice. I've been really discouraged and intimidated because of how much I DON'T know but your video just gassed me up for real. I can't wait to try this tomorrow and see if my gear comes to life.

I installed Zero Reverb but can’t find within Garage Band as a plug-in.
AUDYNAMICS doesn’t appear as a plug-in in Garage Band.
Not sure how to find it. I have an IPhone 7.

Quick question. When you use CLEAN the autotune option is gone. How can I add autotune? I dont want robot autotune but some slighty tuning in my voice.

never done this in my garage band. I will do this to improve my vocals. WOW, you go deep in to the vocals, never seen this. I've made 7 albums with just the standard preset and never thought of this. When I go home I will follow this and improve my vocals, I was going to get another mic to improve my vocals but since I've seen this Ill try this first, thanks.

You can definitely make GarageBand sound like a professional studio just keep learning and don’t give up! I made one song on my phone on GarageBand my cousin was really shocked it sounded just like the studio and I couldn’t do it again!! I been trying to find an old video that showed me presets but I can’t find it but THIS VIDEO DEFINITELY HELPED ME!! This made my rap vocals sound more bold and pretty good! Thanks again!

Wow those vocals settings work very good. So I do music on another channel. I have a lower voice than u and mines nasal. I found out if i record a second vocal track singing slightly higher and mix the 2 it evens out to a pretty good sound

Was struggling with mixing the vocals. Quick question. I’ve seen 2 other videos from 2 other people before seeing yours. It appears I do not have the upside down triangle to save my presets. You’re using your iPhone the other 2 like myself using an iPad. They also had this triangle at the top left of their screens. However as always my issue is never anyone else’s and I do not have that on mine. I have the save icon the 3 little screens the mic eq and fix but no little triangle and my save button just saves the project. And takes me to a page with all my saved programs. How the heck do I save my presets?

How to you get the zero reverb onto garage band though?
If it’s not appearing in your external plugins section immediately after downloading it then you’ll have to go to iPhone settings -> Garageband -> then make sure the “Enable iOS Effect Plug-Ins is switched on (so green)
Then relaunch Garageband and the zero reverb plugin option should show up.

Unfortunately there is no link for the preset and I haven’t found a way on GarageBand to do that. And no all the effects used in this video are free.

I tried to download/look something that is called AUDynamicProcessor from the Apple Store because it says Instruments are available on the App Store but i cant find the one that you are using. If you don’t see an option for external plugins at all then...
Go to settings-> Garageband iOS-> scroll down-> make sure “Enable iOS Effect Plug-Ins” is turned on (should be green)

Yes!
So, on the App Store you would download the application.
If it doesn’t appear in GarageBand under “Audio Unit Extensions” tab then that means that you probably have the audio unit extensions ability disabled for GarageBand.
If that’s the case and you don’t see the “audio unit extensions tab” with any AUv3 plugins that you have downloaded on your phone then you have to go to your iPhone’s settings and enable them.
In the settings app type in “GarageBand” in the search bar and the application settings should pop up. Then scroll down and make sure that the “enable Apple-designed audio unit extensions” tab is green.
After that reopen GarageBand and any of your downloaded plugins, including zero reverb, should appear in the “audio unit extensions” tab.
