Great video. I’m 8k offlaner but I’ve been hardstuck so long. I haven’t gained more than 100 mmr in 6 months lol. These videos definitely helping me understand the game better. I am eager to climb
Followed some of the pointers this guide and I immediately won a comeback game in ranked. Team was behind in net worth for a whole 50 minutes, and we came back and won in a 60+ min game :D Points that were super useful for me to win that game was to minimise the time killing wave creeps, using spells to speed up killing of waves, then immediately going to jungle to farm to optimise farming efficiency. Also the pointers on identifying open lanes to push, identifying threats, monitoring the mini map and not TPing to fights which I cannot win. Using scan to identify when enemy team is getting ready to defend behind their tower. All these pointers resulted in me successfully directing me and my team to avoid losing fights, and going for fights which we had a fighting chance, we won those fights and started to stage a comeback.
focus on 7:20, when losing lane. thats a good tips. actually i'm applying few he mention above. farming backward. i will keep stacking every mins and using 2 clarity + SMOKE to flash farm later. also remind for fellow, when u losing lane, ur skill build may diff, dont stubborn and try skip SS on lvl 6 tidehunter if u losing lane, just take 2 or 3 for u to recover. but im still fail to identify threat which hero can kill me, also usage of scan. thank for reminder
I gain atleast another 500mmr after watching some of his videos. What I did was put the tip in a sticky note on my pc. Then remind myself of it every picking phase.
Another great video, really glad we're getting informative videos consistently Thanks again for the valuable advice and cheatsheet, it's very informative compared to other videos that I've been watching, keep it up!
When all lanes are lost, and the enemy is invading our jungle (fast pacing game from enemy)...do you farm a "fast pacing item" like BLINK too, or a "slow pacing item" like BKB? Do you adjust to enemies pacing or do you take the save route with BKB? This BKB-route would need much more time.
A fast paced game is both decided by your teammates and enemies equally. Teammates or enemies play fast = game becomes fast so you would need to factor both sides in.
this type of notes are the ones prolly running free in ceb's brain. not on the sheets that chalice saw ceb holding bunch of papers during the ti8 finals jkjk
Axe/Tide have passive/spell to farm camps. But how to recover for example as Night Stalker who doesn’t have spell/passive to farm? Shard can solve this but it delays timing significantly for other items.
If you do not have a strong support to lane with, I would not recommend cores that have difficulties recovering like Nightstalker and Marci because they would mostly require that they win lane or at least not get shut down completely. In cases where that happens, you would need to recover regardless.
i feel like most of the time farming jungle then wave results in enemy ganking me and end up feeding pos 2 (storm or such) that can jump and if i put ward on cliff it gets instant dewarded
what about in a winning lane, you're trying to mantaing pressure and you buy wards, but enemy keep showing/smoking and kill you and you team don't react (dont push other lane either). What can i do? Do i have to leave that space to enemy carry and let him recover?
@@Fate025 right, but that's not my point in the question. My point is do i have to retreat from that zone or keep going back and forward just to keep pressure? I'm kinda in the feeling that enemy carry in this way recover from a bad lane.
Id be so interested in a video and document like this for pos 5. Great video! So informative, thanks!
You’re talking a science. This is not bait or scam.
Thank you for real information

Nice vid, I feel like i do most of these in each game but what I really like was the method of grading you used. Gives you a peak to aim for.
Love how much detail you put into this.
Thank you so much, went from 4.4k to 3.5k, hopefully this helps.
i lost a ton of mmr too recently. Feels bad. I'm taking a long break from ranked game..

So you lost 900 MMR after watching his videos?
@@valour549 he meant that he lost tons of mmr before this vid and he is hoping to get some of it back if he improves.

Excellent video! Curious to know your opinion on top offlane picks for this patch! Well done
Hi bro, personally I would go for Legion Commander, Axe and Dawnbreaker as the few personal favourites. Slardar also
Another great video, really glad we're getting informative videos consistently

This is awesome! Really great job and content! Keep up the great work!
Thank you for all the hardwork that you do.
really high quality content man i made it to immortal using ur carry sheet tnx
Great offlane tips, thx
hey balloon, can you do these cropped in to what's relevant? like half the screen space is wasted on word and the text therefore is quite small
Thanks a lot for this now I have a better idea on what to do as an offlaner 👍
That's it, I love you man. You did it for safelane, now you did it with this. Im in love. That's all I have to say
@BalloonDota this is great stuff! I enjoyed the complete carry guide too. Do you intend make one for pos4/5 as well ?
Might do so in future ya
@@BalloonDota Awesome! Looking forward to it! Will enjoy the quality dota content in your channel till then!
@@Tharindu87 Thanks for the support bro 🙏🏻
Thank you, Sensei !!!

if enemy is fast paced and deathballing try to split map or cut oncoming waves make them defend their towers let 2-3 heroes defend highground

I have one question, what are your characteristics to be declared defeated in a lane?
@@PotatoGamer2385 when sitting in lane means high probability of death and you don't see a way to kill the enemies anymore or shut their farm down
Is there a support cheat sheet?
Currently not but I will look into it in future as these documents take me a lot of time to create.
wow very detailed thankyou2
oh my god, thanks Sensei
more offlane videos pls
Wonderful 👍👍👍👍

If all 5, or 4 enemy heroes are missing then its kinda obvious they are smoke ganking you or your teammates right?
That goes to threat identification part 😊
thats creating space, lessen pressur ein other lanes and hopefully your team takes advantage of 5 heroes getting on top of you

@@knkaitlog ok, you tell me if they still farming it's ok. But what about pressure tower?
May I know if you happen to have a similar sheet for POS 4 support, I'm a divine support player and im looking to hit immortal but stuck
Hi, currently I do not but I will look into it in future.
Yeeeessssss
