maybe even 4 if located on a crossroads . .
      Also:
bus stops along the little road where you put the large metro thing with the plazas?

So many points in this one muttering "No, go UNDER. UNDER. Your connection is short, that rail/road/highway/thingy you're avoiding is already elevated, go under it.
Except for metros where it's "the line is already underground. Just leave it there. Save the above-ground stations for where you've have long runs on the surface anyway, because digging is expensive. It's the only thing that's more expensive than passing over something, but if it's short and more level, it's worth it.

Or a bus line. Especially the forestry area (and I think the first industry area) are completely disconnected from the transit. Or at least they aren't directly connected to that district with the bad transit satisfaction, even though it neighbors them directly. It should be trivial to put in a direct shuttle bus from one of those industry areas through the residential into the other industry area and back.

Challenge for your next series: Use busses and roads with no trucks and no cars allowed as if they were metros and trains. This would allow only the busses and services to go on those roads, which would make them effectively lower-level trams, trains, and metros. You could even restrict civilian vehicles from leaving the housing areas, to make sure they use the public transport for work and for shopping. Speaking of shopping, you should try adding a 4x4 of high-density commercial surrounded by trees in residential areas, to mimic mixed-use development without actually overlapping buildings, resulting in multi-story shopping center buildings spread all around the place.

I would suggest not connecting every bus loop to a transfer hub. Have 1 or two wide servicing areas that have 5 or so stops on them that go to the transfer hub. Uses the other spaces on the hubs for point to point. Then have loops that are dedicated to each different districts. Using the point to points to connect them and the 2 wide service ones mentioned before to sorta connect them too.

That slightly slanted train station has enough space for a single track between the platform track and the station entrance retaining wall (in lieu of your silly ped path that should be straighter to the left of the building), place it with Move It. And place the other track on the other side of the platfome track.
The bus station is kinda in the middle of nowhere where it should be alongside one of the train or metro stations. The red passengers district isn't connecter to the first square core district of the city, the two metro lines just don't connect in a convenient way and no buses link those two district together.
As for the Pearl district, the bus station should be just on the other side of the mail road?

How does the traffic AI work in the game ? When playing on console (Xbox one) with no DLC playing extra vanilla, even when you get the lane mathematics correct you still get a lot of bad driving and bizarre lane switching and cars not using the dedicated lanes would be good to understand how the game play works when it comes to driving to build better road networks to stop the bizarre lane switching and incorrect use of lanes

search for biffa vanilla, the traffic fixes should be what you are looking for.

Maybe you could add some blimps! Definitely would add to the American feel
