You can always asks for extra tomatoes and lettuce, usually it's no extra charge, if it's already included in the sandwich. It's not the cook's fault. They are only following the guidelines that each sandwich only receives one slice of tomato. There's a button on the register that says extra tomato and unless that's punched, you aren't getting any extra slice, no matter how tiny your one slice is.

Church's Chicken has been in Ontario for around 20 years. They were part with Harvey's for a number of years, but when they separated into their own stores there was only a few.

Church's Chicken is actually pretty hard to find here in the US. The restaurants are pretty spread out according to their website, with most of them being in Texas.
There are plenty in the hood.

I use to love Ken Domik.. I was quarantined for a month and watched ken everyday .. I started noticing him being like overly critical of petty things .. like the amount of Napkins or the tomato size .. which by the way looked perfect to me.. He seems not to be so much critical of the food .. but the condiment, napkins... cleaning products ... and always always complains about the coffee.. These are things you can control .: ask for extra napkins.. extra mayo ... I mean the guy ragged on the sandwich for not looking like the picture ... I gotta say that sandwich looked phenomenal compared to the person who does not have the ability to say I’m recording this on tv it better be good . Literaly come to find out alll his meals are paid for , but he’ll use his card and pocket the cash so he can write it off on the extra money he pocketed. I’m so let down .. I got a “Tomato”biscuit at McDonalds one morning and the 1 thin slice of tomato had absorbed into the biscuit.
I don't know what the the big deal is with the tomato?! It's just a garnish. It's a chicken sandwich, not a tomato sandwich. If you like a lot of tomato, just ask them for extra tomato when you order. I like onions so i ask for extra, i don't complain that they didn't put many on because it's just standard 🤷♀️

It didn't look like what you seen on the internet. Little tomato? Yuck, 86 it, and put crispy dill pickles on it. I think that's what you need on a chicken sandwich to have the crunch. Tomatoes are wet and do you really like shredded lettuce on your sandwich? I only like the lettuce leaf, I don't like to find lettuce all over my lap. Thanks for your great job reviewing this, I haven't tried Church's. I wanted to till I seen how it was so flat, considering how chic fil A chicken is always so pleasing.

In the early 90's, Harvey's used to use Church's Chicken for their chicken. I remember seeing ads for it in their restaurants when I was a kid.

I think all of you that criticize Ken just don't get him. He's just a simple guy that loves food and is trying to earn a living from that. Why is that a bad thing. He never claims to be a gourmand or an expert at describing food. Take it for what it is...just a guy eating and talking about food. we have like 15 in metro Vancouver. I am not sure how long they have been here for, but the one on East Hastings, I know has been there for since I first came to the Vancouver area in 1996 to visit. So it's been awhile.
They used to have corn on the cob back in the day, that and the poppers were some of my main reasons to go.

why is it that in the comments people are saying church's chicken locations have been around for years in Ontario and years in BC but in the middle of canada like in Alberta where I reside. They skip over and don't put any church's chicken. Then when you talk about southern comfort food we have popey's in Alberta. The logic is like hanging two photo's on the wall in at the corner where the walls meet at oposite ends of the same wall and never one centered in the middle of a blank white wall. Just like OCD.
