  • We meet Jesse and Celine nine years on in Greece. Almost two decades have passed since their first meeting on that train bound for Vienna.

They're like the couple they judged on the train, 18 years beforehand...

I had the same thought, they resemble so much that couple arguing and yelling on the train. If you think it that way you can also imagine that old couple having their own love story once. Maybe after that big fight they also made up and saved their relationship. Having watched the last movie makes that first scene all the more interesting.

When Celine throws everything aside and forgives him... Oh my gosh. Cant help myself to cry like little girl. Not because of some sort of sentiment, but because women like Celine are one in a million. The probability that you will meet one like her is practically zero.

same with him, the chances of meeting someone like Jesse is close to non-existent

I think you lost the point, Jesse is the reason she tries hard enough to be in the relationship. Not the reverse.

Real life issues are very difficult but i love this movie and the interactions between them. I take a lot of good out of it rather than bad. Just a lovely fiction ❤ because there are truths in it. The beautiful and idealistic. The ugly. The shameful and the reality. Lets not get worked up over a piece of fiction. It is intended to give us a glimpse into something few people experience. Love it or hate it it was well written and good acting with a clear message. I personally loved the movies that ive seen. I havent seen the last one fully yet but from what ive seen it is very authentic feeling and engaging but i am an infp personality type like the female character so i may be biased lol. Just enjoy life people and remember dont take it too seriously and laugh whenever you can ❤❤❤ be at peace with who you are and what simple joys life brings when all the bad stuff starts creeping back in.

This isnt real life for relationships. It is real life for a narcissist and a homewrecker. They cheated to get together and cheated when together.

They're messy people; most are. Not all in the same ways, of course. This is what a real relationship might look like for a couple with their particular messes.
