Looks like my 90s untouched unit will be hot fashion in 2024! Curved arches. Green walls. Multifunctional spaces because it’s too small to have dedicated spaces. Only took 30 years, but it was worth the wait for the full cycle to come back.
Same! Sold my 1st home a couple years ago& The gold, green and terra-cotta color drenched walls (all the realtors wanted me to paint gray ) were back by the time I was moving lol I painted nothing!!
You’re my go-to designer. Your content is informative and captivating. I’m a lighting junkie, so your suggestions and examples are appreciated. You have a good balance of informative and aesthetically pleasing shots. Perfection!
I'm loving your tips! I've just found you so it must be fate. Here in Australia, I have had indoor plants for many years. In my last 3 homes (this one included) I have greenery almost everywhere but have been mindful not to overdo it. That's my sister. lol. She has plants growing ONTO my walls. I also enjoy propagating them for family & friends.
The interior design here is absolutely stunning! Every detail feels so thoughtfully chosen, creating a space that’s not only stylish but also warm and inviting. I can truly see the passion behind this design-it’s incredibly inspiring and makes me want to rethink my own living space!
We loved the theme, the insights and the editing. The improvement is noticeable on this video. We only missed the classic head nod after “I see you on the next one”.
Environmental science student here (senior year!) I personally have ettitude sheets and love them. Thanks for talking about B corp certified companies. As consumers we need to be responsible. I know we cant be perfect but we shpuld be concious.
I would like to see more big windows and plants incorporated in apts. Also would like to see more garden areas with plants as food for the residents to eat! More sustainable and would be great to grow our own food.
Love color drenching. I painted my two bedrooms in a muted bluish dark green. I love how it promotes deep sleep. I should have painted the ceiling the same color, too.
What is your opinion on recycled glass countertops? I have heard they are a sustainable option, have the durability but not the environmental impact of quartz and marble.
Reynard, I'm enjoying your channel. I am looking into a hydroponic indoor garden system for a condo with north and west only light sources. If this doesn't work I'll need to rent space at a community pea-patch and visit the local farmers market more often. ...I may do this anyway 🙂
So, I know from your videos that when you hang curtains, you want to hang them higher up on the wall than the top window sill, but also want the curtains to hang to the floor (and the various kiss, puddle, etc of the curtains). But what do you do if you have cathedral ceilings? The slope of the interior ceiling to the wall, when covering individual windows (so not a giant bay window), I figure you use an equal height above the window down to the floor, but what's the suggested height?
Thank you so much for mentioning using certified B Corp products. I have been using eco-friendly products in my home for the last 15 years and will continue to do so. I only wish that others would do the same.
I’m color drenching my living room soon, which shares the same walls as the kitchen / dining room but the LR color will transition into the eventual kitchen color. The vision is there 😅 fingers crossed on the execution. Also, your haircut is looking good! 🫶🏽
Along with biophilia, where you mentioned ventilation, I hope building in better ventilation in all of,our spaces to prevent the spread of airborne illness. We will likely see outbreaks beyond COVID 19 and I’d like to live in spaces built for this reality.
people are too bored and get themselves into an endless loop of modification of their living space. Stop following trends. Just pick something timeless and go find other hobbies

The mixed wood and rattan combo is everything.

Haha yes! I should tell my editor to always include the nod!
Your videos are always informative and beautifully presented. Thanks.

Boucle furniture, the best cat scratching post ever!
Finally some tips on making trends last!
love your content. Thank you for your simple and grounded point of view on so many interesting and daily decoration trends. Regards from Switzerland

Ohh this would be amazing! I like the idea of a communal garden in medium to high density homes.
@reynardlowell of if I may ask do you consult for personal interior decorating if yes I’m interested and would like to talk to you in person.

Biophilic is interesting would love to learn more about it
Just moved in a new house. This video could save my life thx
So interesting 🤔 I’m loving the Bouclé and Biophilic trends 😊
What is your opinion on recycled glass countertops? I have heard they are a sustainable option, have the durability but not the environmental impact of quartz and marble.
as a cat owner with a velvet couch (less prone to scratching) I'm here for it coming back big
I like nature proofing..
Thank you for a great video and excellent advice ❤

Do you have a link for that monolithic marble end table example?

Wish you had more details on sustainable materials.

Biophilic I already use
Doing single door with new colours will try and
Implement
Hey Reynard, could you share where you bought that black cone floor lamp behind you? It looks fantastic
It's linked in description but here you go! - bit.ly/3ce33U4
Hello, love your videos. Can I ask, where did you get the unit that sits behind you in this video?
Do you have a link to some of those biophilic examples you used? They're really neat.
Wonderful video. Do you have a video about creating a timeless backdrop?
I’m working on something similar at the moment, it’s in the pipeline but should be around February
I am trying Biophilic Design...😊
Biophilic and the color wash look good to me.
Awesome video
i love your videos!
Good job 👏

Color Drenching looks like one trend that will quickly outdate 😅
HOW TO ADD LIMESTONE IN INTERIOR ???
Screw trends. I live in a garbage can since 1969 and I will do it for the next century.
And you're watching a video on trending
decour why?
The 1969s are trending again, so your place should look pretty schmick in 2024. 😎
@@dianetemple4243 because I like it
I can’t help but read this in Oscar the Grouch’s voice. First episode November 10, 1969. Coincidence???
Okay Oscar… I’m sure you’ve attracted an equally attractive
Mate to live in your garbage can.
Great video. 3 trends I can’t stand
1. Black hardware
2. Gold hardware
3. Excessive use of porcelain print marble
The trend is not your friend
people are too bored and get themselves into an endless loop of modification of their living space.
Stop following trends. Just pick something timeless and go find other hobbies
hi Reynard. May I get you email. I wish you get consultations with you for my new home.
There's no way b corp is not just a nonsense grift.
Trends are not timeless - styles are.
Careful with vintage, some items have a bad history.
Boucle is nasty stuff. It ages quickly and will need to be replaces in less than 3 years.
Boucle just looks off-putting and gross to me for some reason...I just don't like it.
