I DJ'd in the world famous Kinema Ballroom (Night Magic) for a couple of years in the mid 80s......absolutely loved the place and the people. I visit as much as I possibly can as I made some lifetime friends whilst working and living there. #LOVEdunfermline
Another beautiful and so informative video.Well done Dominic! As always I enjoy watching your documentaries, allowing us to travel through Scotland from wherever we are. Wonderful work! Thank you for sharing with us! Thank you!
My grandfather was from Dunfermline, moved to Pittsburgh,PA and worked for a Carnegie Cement factory as an engineer. I have been all over the world and the nicest people I encountered were in Edinburgh. Thank you for bringing the town to life, well done
Nice video but early Kings were buried on Iona, the last buried there was Macbeth. The first King buried in Dunfermline was Malcolm III who killed Macbeth.
Moving from the English south coast to Dunfermline very soon (house has sold now), I can't wait
it is beautiful place
Proud to have been born here 😊

I only know Dunfermline for Pittencrief park, but then , I am a massive Big Country fan, so I beg forgiveness.
Thankfully this video did not show the unsightly bins stored permanently in the town centre streets , thank you .

Or Abbeyview, or the faceless eastern expansion.
Or wellwood!
my great great grand father was a mayor to dunfermline.

Late reply, but he wasn’t a mayor. We don’t have mayors in Scotland.😁
