I lost all my tomorrow's when I lost my husband who Freddie worked many shows for and he is such a dear sweet man, and miss seeing him. Widow of Ken Allen
I've always liked Freddie Hart. He has so many great classics. This one in particular is really good, but he truly has a lot of different ones to offer like "Starvation Days", "What's Left Of My Mind" (which sadly isn't on RUclips I think), "The Wall" and many more! So many enjoyable songs by him.
You'll get over her Freddie! This song has all the elements that most people associate with a country song, a guy admitting to being a fool sitting on a barstool who is broke and bereft of all hope and half-drunk investing his last dime in a jukebox to play another "she done me wrong song." For what it is, it's one of the best of the genre. If Gary Stewart never recorded this, he sure should have. Also would have been a great song for Jerry Lee Lewis and Bobby Lewis. I wish Freddie had repeated the last phrase. Actually, the title of the song is a little inaccurate, as nowhere in the song is it sung, I LOST ALL MY TOMORROWS. What is actually sung is the phrase: "I lost my tomorrows." It always fascinates me how errors like this are missed by EVERYONE right down the line. No big deal, but.... FANTASTIC SONG; COUNTRY TO THE BONE! And a must listen for all Freddie Hart fans!👍👍👍👍
@@miltonmoore5294 A BELATED "THANK YOU" AS I JUST NOW FOUND THIS. (I NO LONGER HAVE THE DEVICE WITH WHICH I POSTED MY COMMENT.) GOOGLE KITTEN ON "BLUE EYES CRYING IN THE RAIN," FARON YOUNG ON "CHAPEL IN THE MOONLIGHT," AND BROOK BENTON ON "EVERY TIME I'M KISSING YOU" (ON THE DARIO'S OLDIES CHANNEL.)😺👍😺🌠
BACK FOR MULTIPLE CONSECUTIVE LISTENS AFTER SEVERAL YEARS. NOBODY IS GOING TO KNOCK FREDDIE HART OFF HIS PERCH IMTERPRETING THIS SONG, BUT DEL REEVES WOULD HAVE COME THE CLOSEST TO DOING SO. THIS RECORDING BELONGS IN THE PANTHEON OF THE GREATEST PERFORMANCES IN THE HISTORY OF COUNTRY MUSIC.
