Two Bit Hooker - Get Deep with this nymph

Probably one of the heaviest small nymphs you can fish. With two tungsten beads, this will sink to where the fish are instantly. Great for fast moving water or deep pools. A great lead fly as well to get an unweighted trailing nymph down as well. Originally tied by Charlie Craven ‪@CharliesFlyBox‬ this has become a very popular fly for western fisherman. I am sure I did not do the fly the justice it deserves as it is quite difficult to tie. Really this is not the easiest fly to tie and will take you a few tries to get it right. Funny how I will tie many in a row decently, then I get on camera and the mistakes start stacking up. That's what happened here. But you all learn from my mistakes as much as my wins. Thanks for shari ing this fly. I like the double beads as I fish in current on the Feather so getting it down in the feeding zone is crucial. A double bead will work n im partial to the olive color but am open to variations. Thank you for this. God Bless n Fish on!

I live in the Eastern most part of Ky, stock trout are the only trout we have, what would you recommend to use?

I’m my experience stocked trout love flashy flies. So anything with flash. Or bright colored things like eggs and San Juan worms. But I haven’t fished KY so it might be diff there.
