These lipos work great as long as you charge them up first and discharge them with your charger down to storage mode do that once or twice and your lipos will work great
XSR radio looks great… but the DumboRC DDF-360 has 10 channels, telemetry, dedicated, everything you get with the XSR but $600 cheaper. I have the both but the Spektrum only works great with their own system… DumboRC works great on everything so far. Great video 💯

Great tech, cost too much for some folks who are into bashing. A lot of us have to look for areas to save something due to the pricing of RC's, and that's usually in the Lipo charger department. I recommend Spektrum lipos to people i know who are only involved in crawling and trailing, they generally spend less money fixing stuff LOL.
I find a pretty good deal on this charger. I bought the. Scx6 from someone on marketplace and give me the car +4 batteries and the same charger that you have on the video for$700 it was amazing deal and the car. I have a post on my RUclips channel❤
Very nice system. Spectrum Smart chargers and batteries are a dream for saving time and ease of use. I am noticing that the smaller cars like the Groms and Mini LMT come with smart batteries so why not go with it. The spectrum basher batteries put out some good power.
trapping a consumer into such an ecosystem usually pushes the casual person out like me. the moment my utb came with all this, i pulled it out and put standards in it. I don't want to have to get diff adapters, chargers, esc, batteries, etc just for 1 or 2 rigs.
I'm that way with traxxas. At least with the spektrum stuff,you can use other batteries. I just use ec connectors with spektrum,and if it has a smart esc,you still get full telemetry. At least I do with my promoto and kraton.
I really like Spektrum batteries and chargers. They are high but i also really like EC5 connectors and that's what they use. Plus it's literally just plug and play. No buttons, no nothing necessary. I've had really good luck with them except the battery and or charger that came with the Mojave Grom. It worked once and never again. I'm sure they would warranty it but i have no plans to use that IC2 connector ever again after i convert it brushless.
Unfortunately had a 810 g2 for the mini b that wouldn't read the second cell after just 2 charges... maybe bad egg but they wouldn't replace or off anything and it's ok ok I mean it's a lipo but I mainly told them as a fyi... but when I was told that it was sorry as is were not offering anything.. didn't even ask btw.. but I learned..
I have the same g2 charger and it’s hit and miss whether it’ll charge other style batteries ….sometimes I’ll plug in another brand battery and it’ll have an error message and won’t charge…..I’ll plug the same battery into my lectron pro and it’ll charge just fine.
Unfortunately my first Spektrum battery experience was a bad one, having a 2s 6200 g2 basher battery die mid run on only its 5th outting and only a month old ... dropped a cell and their charger wouldn't even detect smart chip... been 2 weeks and the where i got it says its unlikely Spektrum would replace it... so yeah is it worth paying 3 times as much as an ebay battery? also ... why do they insist on using IC2 on their Grom and not IC3 like they have on most of their chargers, is it so you'll have to buy their adaptor?, coz what else would be the reason

I had a lipo fire with a venom charger & ovionic 3s. (Venom 4x the flat square 1 they discontinued). My service dog was doing his best to GTF away, but couldn't. I'd give my life for him. All 20lbs of my 'jack-chi'. Chihuahua head, JR everywhere else. Initial price hurt a lot! ISDT chargers are extremely similar to the smart versions, without the $$-gouging. I'm still using the same batteries I bought when I got the chargers.
I'd only ever buy into an "ecosystem" if I knew the company running it would support their own product. I *know* Spektrum doesn't always do that so I'll never buy in. They've burnt me on everything from servos to batteries.

Ive had nothing but issues with their stupid batteris dying and messing up cells after only a couple charges and you have alot of buy in to even use the setup and it doesnt last? No thank you! I wouldnt recommend spectrum dumb technology to anyone after going through 3 different batteries. All the same issues.
Spektrum smart batteries are complete garbage and this is why I check my batteries twice a month during our Canadian winter which means my batteries are sitting for 7-8 months so to make sure my batteries are still at storage I check them twice a month and when I went to check my spektrum batteries all the cells in both my 3s batteries were completely dead each cell read 0.00v and now the only batteries I buy and use are the CNHL batteries

I have 7-8 year old batteris still good to go no issues. I ain't paying for a planned obsolescence.
