My first Lamborghini i ever bought was my Lamborghini Gallardo which was such a monumental moment for me! After i bought it i truly made it my own by installing twin turbos and other modifications making it just over 1000bhp but all of that came crashing down the other night when leaving my unit after working on it.

Thanks to everyone for your concerns and those who asked if we are all okay ❤. It’s easy to say how it could be avoided it happens every time something goes wrong. A football team loses - everyone becomes a manager situation. Point is it’s happened now and everyone is all okay and we move forward! Let’s get this gallardo back better than ever! ❤

Glad to see you’re okay. Did something similar in my favorite car back in 2019. Super lucky I walked away unscathed, if I went off ten feet sooner I would’ve gone into a 30 foot ravine.

I broke my neck in a Lamborghini crash (LP640 Murci) - The driver lost control and hit at tree... I nearly died/paralysed but surgery saved my life. I am so grateful to be here. I am pleased that you are ok Mat. Stay safe bro these cars are awesome but damn they can let go fast and do a lot of damage. Cars can be repaired - people can't. All the best.

I don't agree with hat, some cars CAN NOT be replaced, simple as that, anyone who is a true petrolhead would never use those words, we all know our lives are more important but sometimes there are things you can't just replace.
As a car guy who's 57 today, I can guarantee you would've looked back in 10 maybe 15 years and said "I wish I would've fixed that car"......so I say good choice Mat!...btw. 1000hp, slicks and rain...not many people can pull it off...glad your ok!
bro i cant even drive my 5 th gen in the rain with dragy on U will die .. i spun 10x on a 2 lane road after leaving the tuner.. never again i got lucky ..
Even my porka 944 with a measly 168hp will occasionally try to swap ends on a wet roundabout without even hoofin' it. You have to stay on the ball.

An apprentice I worked with wrote his Audi S3 off and took out about 5 pavement railings and a couple of kerb stones - bill from the council for that was about £8K if I recall.

The hardest part to watch was Hannah crying. She must have gone through all the emotions of the possibility of losing you. Cars are just machines, regardless of memories, and can be rebuilt (with even more memories now).

I was thinking this and seriously with no one injured who better then Mat as he is one of the few who can probably make a few bucks, have a LOT of fun and entertain the heck out of us AND he did not have to go out and find his next project. When you think of the time saved right there it was worth it! Now me, I would have totally jumped on the insurance!

@@jannagy well mat had already called to say he's crashed but fine. she knew she wasn't pulling up to a corpse, but for obvious reasons was still emotional. Easy for us to not impulse record everything, but recording things has been their life for a while now, so not surprising they felt it natural to document part the process.

Matt, I'm Porsche Driving instructor...A 911 GT Touring with Michelin Sport Cup , Il lost control at 40MPH on wet conditions and get it back straight miraculously....These semi slick tyres are F***cking tricky ..You are a legend to rebuild that car...!!!! You are safe, that's the most important..!!!

I span an exige years back on worn semi slicks (Yoko) in December. With the engine behind you if it so much as slips a tiny bit, it will snap off oversteer. Really feel for you guys and so glad you're ok.

However, given the circumstances, she did know that he was at least "ok" enough to talk to her. If he was dead or badly injured I doubt she would have made the video. In this case, she wanted to get video for Mat. In the end, it was for him. She was thinking of him, even when making the video.

Got similar semi-slicks on my kit car. Not entirely surprised you binned it - they're scary in the damp and outright dangerous in the wet! Might not be a great idea having normal road tyres on the front axle - probably made it snap back at you when you tried to correct.

Omg I hope your doing okay this really hit me different “no pun intended” I was recently in a car accident on the 101 freeway up north in California. I was 20ft into a ditch with my friends and that call to my mom was insane I was so thankful I was alive and only the car was ruined but I’m glad your okay fam be safe and much love 🫡
