Although BM&MM give Se they are also the most expensive to wash and the weaker of the ranged attackers..I’d say they’re definitely a D tier starting class, F/P and i/L deserve a more respectable rank tho lol they’re great for meso making because of their farming abilities, don’t need any start up funds or washing, can leech your new characters and their skill books to master Blizz&Meteor are Dirt cheap can make a 1Hit petrifighter mage to level your noobys from 108-135+ easy. They are also VERY fun to play imo
Yeah, for instance I love the bandit class even though it's considered weak. I used to main an ice/lightning mage and a bandit and I preferred the bandit. Also, if you just play the game normally and at your own pace and don't worry about bossing or the end game it's a better experience overall. I played Maplestory for half a decade and never did a single boss run and still loved the game. People who leech or worry about washing are missing 90% of the game for the final 10%. Reminds me of WoW back in the day where everyone worried about hitting the level cap so they could raid. I tried raiding on my main and it was boring and repetitive and wasting 3-4 hours for the chance at getting an item that would be pointless a few updates later was a waste of time. I had more fun making multiple characters and just enjoying the levelling zones and a bit of PVP than anything else in that game. I love Maplestory's early and mid game and that's the reason most people play it I'd wager, for the nostalgia. The graphics are unique, the gameplay is akin to a platformer, there are RPG elements, an amazing soundtrack, and chill gameplay. Having your character hang onto a rope while a high level mage one shots everything and you place all of your points into int bypasses the majority of the game and makes your character worthless for it.

As a cold wizard you are fine with no hp washin, no funds and can clear all solo, same goes for F/P, you can even boost your other chars with em. would put em both at b tier as the only thing lacking is utillity and boss dmg, on zakum you do fine but the other bosses you will be lacking.

For leeching for your own character, it means i gotta have 2 computer and 2 account to do the leeching , yeah?
Thanks!
Lol minmax culture has taken all the fun out of games. Play the class you think is the coolest and it’ll be badass at lv 200 anyway.
