@mrbluenun this bucket is a style designed more for trenching (narrow for good penetration but deep for capacity) rather than mass earth works but its the only one we have for the machine. A wider bucket would be easier to pick up the large frozen (frost) lumps.
@Gasteraner its got a heater core that uses coolant from the engine. The coolant was circulating properly but the core was blocked so there was no air flow.
@CDNAT1 when the sun was up (start of nightshift) only -15*C but after a few hours the temperature dipped to around -22*C. The first truck was a Komatsu HD605-7.
