Why does Merton think he is so superior? He sits there and looks as if he is bored by the whole thing. If it was not for the money I don’t think he would turn up for work.

Usually he’s fine but he completely ruins this episode.
You really know it when he doesn't like someone, he can't hide it at all. Just ask Angus, especially towards the end of Angus's run.
