@atklm1yeah that’s if the BMP got close enough. In the tank biathlon 2020 it was shown that the 30 mil had terrible rates of dispersion and could barely hit anything at range. Add on top of that that a 50 cal can sometimes penetrate it.
So where is this type of BMP in ukraine this is however the type of modernized BMP'S The russians want. But then most of them are just fighting with Regular BMP-1,2 and 3 some don't even have armor and there must've been a few of this BMP's fighting right now but still ends up in the same fate along with other armored vehicles that perished in this war

BMP-1s used to cost some 700 000 dollars when they were first made, the moderniesd ones are just over 1 million which is way cheaper than let's say an american bradley ifv which costs around 4 million dollars

Russa modernised all BMP-1s to BMP-2 and 3s, only Ukraine uses BMP-1s

I recommend trained crews.. so far from what we are seeing.. Russia's Armor division is a disaster.
