I love Walter's intelligent approach, which (note well), doesn't mention "drop" chords, but instead decides exactly what inversion and voicing he wants. The use of "drop" chords becomes slavery to a fixed notion that is essentially not very musical. Instead, Walter exerts absolute control over what he wants by deciding the chord progressions based on musicality and the desired harmonic effect.
The only thing I could do, listening to you demo what you could do with that simple piece, was smile. Ah, the joys of exploration and discovery even in simple, unpretentious, oft taken for granted piece of music, in the hands of a Master.
