I never had this issue with my GoPro 5 or the GoPro Hero 7. Or even ran through a lot of the settings just to test them out and still get shaky footage. @@cyruscrossan Definitely did, I had the hyper smooth too high, in linear mode & had the iso too low. After changing them separately I found it was caused by the iso. Which is strange cause I wouldn't think that would affect it too much! Do you have any tips to shooting in low light i.e. in a forest on a cloudy day because if I lower the shutter speed it gets brighter but the video becomes blurry?

    I tried to take a video with my Go Pro 11 Black at night time. While just walking and recording, the videos are rather shaky and has vibrations. It happens mainly during the night, sometimes during the day too. My Hypersmooth is on Boost and im taking the video in 4k 60Fps 2x slow mo. Anyone experienced the same issue ? Any fixes ? Is this a manufacturing defect on the camera ? Aren't go pro supposed to be stable even on rough and bumpy roads ? Please help. Thanks.

    • @cyruscrossan
      @cyruscrossan  Год назад

      GoPro's have a small sensor. They will not perform well at night unfortunately. I would try turning your hypersmooth from "boost" to "on" during the day and see if that helps. Sometimes too much hypersmooth creates shaky footage as well as the GoPro is overcorrecting itself.

    • @cyruscrossan
      @cyruscrossan  2 года назад +1

      Hey Rida, I would suggest having a higher ISO, maybe 800 or 1600 for cloudier days and turning Hypersmooth to "ON" for the best results. GoPro's do worse, with bad lighting so that is a limitation of them. I have never used a gimbal with them but it certainly can not hurt if you want it to be absolutely stable.

    It's funny when people make excuses for go pro.and say the sensor is really smaller because the Camera is so compact. My phone camera and sensor Is extremely small and the video quality is So much better it's not even funny. A gopro is supposed to be a dedicated camera. That's the only job it's supposed to do, and it does it quite poorly. The video footage looks like a camera from 15 years ago. An actual 1080 camera looks way way better, and gopro is supposed to be 4k and beyond. I've never seen gopro footage that even looks as good as 1080.

    • @cyruscrossan
      @cyruscrossan  3 месяца назад

      I can understand that - I remember feeling the same way when I got my first GoPro. I think there are some moments where GoPro footage can really shine and look really good - but it's not for every moment.
