Thanks for the excellent videos. I just installed my speaker pods tonight and I used your idea of keeping the speaker wire harness inside the tour pak. I noticed that it's possible to pass the speaker wires through the grilles if you pull back the black sheath a bit. That saves having to squeeze them between the duct and the hole that you cut in the tour pak and worrying about the wires getting pinched off. Thanks for the great videos, once again. I also got some solid grommets to insert into the unused holes in the speaker pods instead of putting in the supplied ones and filling the holes with silicone.
Absolutely! Thank you for watching and supporting the channel. Great ideas! That’s what it’s all about, finding new and innovative ways around the installs.
@@lyncoors Just bought some plugs from Amazon. I don't remember what they were called, but they are for passing wires through but they are closed until you cut an opening in them. I just left them as-is instead of opening them up. I think I searched for wire grommets or something like that.
I have looked through RUclips but nothing specific on wiring of speaker to the motor and if reflash or jailbreak of the radio is required. Appreciate your channel
so for a 2008 street glide add of a tour pack how do you tie into the bike to get sound, no amp i can fine do does the harness on the street glide allow a add in?
Can I use these pods for a 2012 Electra Glide, because the pods for the 2012 are for a 5.25" Speaker I'd prefer 6.5" Speakers, everything I found says this particular Pods that your using is for 2014-2020 why can't I install this Pod on my 2012 I'm using amps that will be mounted in the rear tour pack ,I'm running rca Jack's from the radio with hi/lo level adapters.... and running power and ground directly to the battery, just wanted to know if I can use these pods on my 2012....thanks .... your videos rock!!!
Thank You for the support! I don’t see why you can’t use these pods. It might be because of the tour-pak curve/shape, or where the holes are placed, but these pods have some play in them. You can always dry fit them, and return them if they don’t work out. Could always try grinding/dremel the whole larger and drill some new well nut holes. Hope this helps! Thanks again for watching the channel 🤟🏽
@@RAIDERWORLD awesome.... Thanks I really appreciate your prompt response 👍...... you definitely have the best and complete instructional videos produced on RUclips..... looking forward to your up coming videos.... thanks again
Where can I get the mounting hardware? My bike did not come with a tour pack. I ordered an after market king tour pack with only the back rest. I ordered speaker pods w/speakers from ebay without the mounting hardware.
Thank You! I actually wanted to go with after market speaker pods, so I looked for just the wiring. I tried purchasing just the wiring, but Harley only sells it as a kit.
@@adrianwong1627 I used this whole set for the install. They sell them on the Harley Website though www.harley-davidson.com/us/en/shop/Tour-Pak-Rear-Speaker-Enclosure-Kit/p/76000505
I haven’t seen any liners besides Harley’s liner, that has speaker cut-outs. But once I get this liner, I plan on showing how easily it is to customize the cut-outs yourself. Happy Holidays to you!
C'mon mannn..🤣🤣🤣 What a teaser.. Why didn't you buy a Ultra limited or Road Glide limited? Buy the R.F. DSR1..night/day difference on the sound. I enjoyed your vid..well thought out!!

What rubber plugs did you get to cover the holes.

Cutting into your paint is always scary, great job!
Your absolutely right! Once that drill starts, your committed, and there’s no turning back lol. Thank You 🤟🏽
I have an ultra and want to remove my speakers to clean up the back end. This video showed me there's too many holes to fill with the speakers out lol
Oh yeah, absolutely! Thank You watching 🤘🏽
Just order a abvanblack tour pack to replace it.
Outstanding job Jarhead! Drive On. You made it look simple, which it is. 👊 DFA.
Haha! Right on. Thank You 🙏🏽
so thankful for this tutorial. Calm and easily understood.
That’s awesome! Thank You. Glad it helped
Hi, can you share a video of how the speakers wiring works . Appreciate it
I can probably knock one of those out.

By chance would 2014-2023 speaker pods fit my 2007 Electra glide king pack? I’m having a hell of a time trying to find some
I couldn’t say they would, because I haven’t tried fitting them.
Another great video. What can I say. They are the best!!! Stuart.
Thank You! You know I definitely appreciate it
Awesome video I really enjoyed watching happy holidays to you and your family well and safe and enjoy

Did you once have a Yamaha Raider?
I did once have an Yamaha GP800, but I was only able to ride it on the water lol
Do you know where i can purchase those mounting brackets ? Can’t find them anywhere.
I believe they only come in the kit
@@RAIDERWORLD who’s the kit purchased through?
@@speedyReedyEnterprise I purchased them directly from Harley. Your local dealership can order them as well

I found this one on the Harley Davidson Website www.harley-davidson.com/us/en/shop/tour-pak-rear-speaker-enclosure-kit/p/76000505

This kit was purchased through Harley Davidson. I don’t believe they sell the mounting hardware separately
Nice install! What’s the part number for kit? Is it a one piece kit?

great video, question? can I just purchase the wiring harnesses you used? I have an OEM tour pack and just need to get it wired up. Thanks!

@@RAIDERWORLD What is the number to get that rear speaker harness from both rear speakers to the
bike
Is your tour pack permanently mounted or detachable? ty
It’s a detachable tour pack
Do you recommend anyone for this and the Phase 3 6 speaker install out in northern California?
It’s all on the rider and how much sound they want. I mainly did the tour-pak speakers for my wife.
Can this kit be used on a 95 ultra classic?
The curves in the tour-pak are different, so they might not.
I'm looking for the rear tour-pak speaker and it's bracket. Do you have?

He’s wrong on the wire connection. Blue/ Black and Blue is the right speaker wire, Blue/ orange and Blue/ gray is the left speaker..l
Good thing it didn’t come with any instructions 🤘🏽 As long as you do a polarity test, and adjust your fade/balance accordingly, you should be GTG
You cant put any good speakers in there without spacers
