    2022 and I am just now watching this lol Blown away by how dang quiet that 17 is... I am very torn on going DAS17 with some 3Ks or a custom wood bow but man... they shoot lights out.

    Thanks for the great review. I'm close to pulling the trigger on a Dalaa 21" in copper. They seem like great bows.

    Paul I'm setting up the same riser.Going with Das 3K med limbs.Hoping for a 60 in bow.My draw is 27 1/2 in. Planning on 40 lb limbs.what could I expect on poundage since they are based on 28 in draw. Smoothness and no stack hopefully.

    Can that brass piece that’s on the limb bolt go past the rubber pad and still be ok to shoot? I turned my bolts in all the way bottomed out and backed them out 2 1/2 turns. I’d like to turn them in a little bit more if it’s okay.

    Are those limb bolts always supposed to be sticking out the belly side of the riser??? I’ve been running my flush and I think it’s really messing with the performance. Any thoughts

    What brace height are you running with the 17 and uukha’s I’m setting one up myself.

    • @pitbullman4111
      @pitbullman4111  3 года назад +1

      7-1/4 the vx+ tend to like a little lower brace height. Normal uukhas will tend to hold more toward conventional rec limbs and be more around 7-3/4 to 8

    Sorry hit button to soon. Having consistency with the Vap so this year going with the Gillo. Depending on how I like that long of a bow to hunt with (I'm a shoot how guy for hunting) I may be in the market for a another riser to hunt with. I was thinking the 15inch of 17inch Das would be my pick of hunting risers. What do you think of the 15inch I know you don't have or have not shot one. Darren

      @@pitbullman4111 things got a little better. Running 285 up front. Trying to shoot .300spine .203" at 52ish# on a 21"dalaa riser gives me 600gr bare shaft. I went up to almost 3/4 and started coming back down twisting my knock down the string 1 turn at a time. Currently sitting at 5/8" again. Switched my heavy springy out with a lightweight 10. But I have no idea if that's a good idea or not. Wore out for today time to quit.

    Great shooting! Currently I am playing around with my 60inch ilf bow with about 20m point on fixed crawl right now but I can't get rid of nock low on bareshafts and It bothers me so much! I am running even tiller, nock height already all the way up to 6/8"(w/ original springy rest). Any advice?? Should I just keep raising my nock height? I even tried negative tiller 1/4 as well. It did't fix the problem.

    • @pitbullman4111

    Thanks for the video! Do those limbsavers work? Are they mostly for vibration/sound dampening? I notice for uukha the limbs get thin as soon as they leave the riser so not even sure where to stick them. I've got a das 17 in ILF connection arriving soon for my uukha gobi limbs really looking forward to them.
