Great idea and large aquariums can get really expensive these days, so an excellent alternative. I'll be interested to see how it matures and any additional ideas and mods you make in the future 😊

Why do you need a liner?

Love the idea. I moved into a condo and no longer can have my outdoor pond so this is a cool idea. Why did you choose artificial plants instead of going with pothos or something that'd help clean the water and grow?

Thank you! I went with artificial plants right now due to limited time and wanting to keep costs low. I agree that it is a good idea though and likely may add them in the future.

@@TheAquaticCoderhey I have a polar blue with some yo-yo loaches. The polar blue is super aggressive. How do you do it?

NOOOOOOO! Do NOT put substrate in there with any of the koi or goldfish types! They can eat it and it will cause compacting in their stomachs which will kill them. Never use heaters for koi!

      You are completely wrong.

I have kept Koi and goldfish in a large natural pond on my ranch and it has a lot of areas of natural gravel and small rocks and never had an issue. Don't think I've lost any fish in years and they breed and raise loads of fry, to adulthood. Don't know where you heard this but I don't think it's true at all.
