  • Spicers Gap is a mountain pass that is located 100 kilometres west of Brisbane, Queensland, Australia, and was the original route over the Great Dividing Range in the area around Brisbane.
This short film was taken on a low hanging cloud day and the range is shrouded.

When I think of Australia, mountains are not one of my first thoughts, but this is some pretty amazing country and views!!

      Cheers for having a look!
We will be seeing most of the Great Dividing Range during our journey, it is Australia's most extensive mountain range, stretching more than 3,500 kilometres.
From the north-eastern tip of Queensland, the range runs through New South Wales into Victoria then turns westward before dropping into the central plain of the Grampians in western Victoria.
The highest areas of the Australian continent are found in the Great Dividing Range, which divides the east coast from the remainder of the less contoured and more barren inland areas.
