Awesome review, bro! I lived in NZ for almost 3 years, and I loved it. I definitely would love to visit again. I have a lot of families over there. The thing I miss the most (other than my families😂) is the food. NZ, in my opinion has the best dairy and meat products. I miss the bakeries, too (meat pies, sausage rolls, etc.). On a different note- amazing camera work👍🏾👍🏾
We've tried steak from all over the world and New Zealand steak is my stand out favourite. The really top steak houses in kiwi land are world class to me for now but I'll continue the search 😁👌 food is so good here and it's only gotten better over the years. Glad you enjoyed the video fam 👌
I'm a Brazilian college student, first semester in Electronics Engineering. I've been told I'd most likely have to go to another country to find a job when I graduate, and since then I've been thinking of alternatives. I definitely hope New Zealand will be an option in my future, I'm honestly already in love with the country.
My friend lives in NZ. He is happy, not so happy. Kept in touch with him, this is his reply.. NZ is good, nice & lot of other good things that were mentioned here so let's add what my friend said. Buying a house is not affordable as not everyone earns a lot. Lots of people are renting/boarding as affordability to own one is way out of reach. Crime is ridiculously high & the system is softer on the crime which does not set any deterrent for others. You just get some home detention, you can be a repeat offender for drink- drive still be on the roads driving again, there is much more to it. Public transport system is a massive failure in the whole of country , full of blunders & that’s why people rely on cars, motorcycles, etc. You can’t do anything without a car so most of the households have two or three cars. It is not cheap to live here as you don’t get to make enough hence why it is expensive. Not everything is available here either.
Catching an all blacks game is super awesome but it only happens in winter. Super rugby is pretty cool too though. Don't forget to try a meat pie too hahaha 😁👌
Thank you bro reading comments like yours makes our day. My wife and I put a lot of effort into these and it's always good to know people are enjoying them 😊👌 have an awesome Sunday!

Hey thank you for this awesome video! I was born and raised in Italy, but after many years I decided to see the world and seek a better place to live. I'm currently on "your" side of the world, studying Japanese in Tokyo, because I've always loved Japanese people, their culture, their hospitality, and their food. The language is very warm and emotional, more so than I thought, although reading and writing it is crazy hard. But for various reasons, I don't think I'll settle down here. New Zealand is currently my #1 place to visit and maybe end up staying in! So I'll be watching your entire channel if you don't mind XD
Thank you so much for your kind words etatoby! We're glad you enjoyed our video and hope you like the others too 😁👍 Japan is an awesome place we've been there twice and agree totally with your points. Fantastic video man. Truly seems like an incredible place to live with a bunch of chill friendly people. Can't wait to go check it out once the pandemic is over!
NZ is definitely a good place to live although I wouldn't say the healthcare system is free, it's heavily subsidized but GP visits and dentists can be pricey 😊
Dentists are free till your 18, if you haven't figured out how to look after your teeth by that age I'm not very sympathetic when it comes to paying for treatment
There is no such thing as "free" healthcare and education. Ultimately, SOMEONE must pay for those services -- it's not as if the money is simply falling from the heavens. Therefore, next time someone claims something, like healthcare, is free, what he really means is, "I want you to pay for me." (What a novel -- and personally convenient -- way to vote, no?)
I lived in NZ for 15months and it was amazing. The people, nature and just the overall feeling of the country. People are so friendly and their cafes are so good! People are down to earth and care more about living a connected (to people nature) life than living a, by western standards, succesful life in general. I notice that I only got asked once; what do your parents do? And here people ask all the time (Holland) people just dont care and are friendly.
You are so right! In some countries people always ask us what do we do for jobs and what our parents jobs are... like they're trying to assess how much we're worth or something 😅 New Zealand people generally get along without much thought of what your title is. Thanks for dropping by with a comment 😁👍
Hi I’m from South Africa and I’ve been to NZ for two months in 2018 visiting my children in Putaruru, Waikato and visited other family in Wellington for a week and took the train back to Hamilton afterwards. Would have visited again now in April, but Covid 19 prohibited me😭 It is the most beautiful country and the people are amazing! I’ll move there if I could! Thanks for your videos👍
I'm serious about immigrating to and creating a life for myself in New Zealand. So excited for the day to arrive! In the meantime, any tips y'all have are so appreciated! 😄 Bless 🤗
Nice video, I'd say relatively unbiased for a kiwi. I've enjoyed living in NZ last few years, though I must say people are not as friendly as I thought they would be. It's hard to make friends outside of the international community, but as a place to come and holiday, it's great.
There is another Con about New Zealand, not that I’m hating, I absolutely love the country. I went over to New Zealand in the Easter this year and when I was watching the news there were reports like every day of people dying in car crashes. However I had an amazing holiday and I definitely would say if your looking for a good holiday this is the place for you!
Heya Holly you're totally right about that. The kiwi roads are dangerous people needa drive slow cause there's no middle barrier and some really slippery turns. Beautiful country but for sure this deserves a mention 🤔
Good video! For once you don't make us hungry! Haha! We'd love to visit NZ! Living there seems pretty good for our taste and preferences! Keep up the good work guys!!
Hey guys thought it would be good to change it up once in a while hahaha. Yes totally from watching your videos you guys would really enjoy new Zealand it's a bit of a mission getting here but well worth it. If you come we could grab a bite to eat too 😁👌

damn it I love this country. The rivers are fun to kayak down and the fjordlands may be some of the coolest places on earth, and the peninsulas and islands are so fun. School camps taught me to appreciate this country's extravagance in the nature aspect, but the cultural aspect is a plus too. I've been to most of the major cities in the North Island and I enjoyed every one, from Taupo to Tauranga. Not particularly fond of Auckland, but that may just be because living 30 minutes from the city centre is considered close. where I grew up, Palmy North, you could traverse the whole city in 30 minutes. The memories that stick with me though always come back to natural features. Climbing Mount Ruapehu, witnessing soo many waterfalls, seeing seals on the beach at Cape Palliser, kayaking backwards down the Rangitikei River, going on a few bushwalks, and jetboating down the Waikato River to have a geothermal safari. This country is not without flaws, but there really is no place like New Zealand

You obviously don't know much about the labour party. She has done absolutely nothing in her 3 years in office. Not a single one of her labour party election promises have been fulfilled. Poverty is worse, housing shortage has grown, crime is up, taxes are up and unemployment is up. All she has done is dole out goodies to the losers of society using taxpayer money which is typical of all leftist governments around the world. It is very easy to give away money that isn't yours in the first place.
5:54 same man I went to LA in 2016 and felt homesick basically the whole 3 weeks I was there, America just doesn’t have the same chill and welcoming vibe that New Zealand does :/

Yeah, NZ is a little bit far as from the rest of the world, bro. But the pros definitely outweigh the other things which I don't even consider as cons. Great info, as always guys. I can't believe you were able to roll into frame without ruining the clone shot. That's some skill right there! And Pete that shot of you lowering yourself out of frame with the Sky Tower in the background cracked me up. 🤣

You should totally come for a visit and see if you enjoy the country 😁🇳🇿 we love it here it's home for both yen and I as well as our family. The pros way outweigh the cons but I had to include some cons just for the video sake hahahaha. Thanks for watching and leaving a comment appreciate you 👍
Hi suri
Yes you should come, it's amazing here
same
nz is not real !!!
I’m here in Florida for a year and I miss home so much 💙 Windy Wellington is where it’s at.
Windy Wellington was our first home when we arrived in New Zealand 31 years ago 😁🇳🇿 great city we've even done a few episodes from there hahaha. Hope you get to come back soon! But enjoy Florida heard it's lovely!
lol i hate the cityies theyare just filled with crao side streets and buildigns that look super dogy and out of place when you turn off the main road and seems super unplanned i hate them
Hurricanes 4 Life, because nobody likes running against the wind
Waikato, H town💪
Yess Wellington is the best
I’m British and have been living down here for 6 odd years. I love it here, the people, the food, and the geography. Unfortunately the job market is too small for a young, out of college, adult to start your career. Hence why I am planning on leaving for home soon
Lots of Love Anthony. Involve yourself in the community and things will naturally work for you.
After 20 years chasing your career you'll be wondering why you didn't stay in NZ when you had the chance.
@@brendafrancis894 no I won't.
Not everyone is born into wealth. I need a roof over my head and food in my belly.
Also not to mention I can always go back to NZ
Ok got you, just saying the grass is not always greener and if your going to the UK you will spend the next 20 years building a career going in early working late spending more time at work than home and at the end of it what really matters is the wife the kids and family. Still you'll have a great career or not. Just my opinion though
@@brendafrancis894 in order to support a family and have a life you need a job.
Anyone who is willing to live in absolute squalor just because they dont wanna work properly is an idiot
I was raised in NZ as well. This video basically sums up NZ pretty good. Short answer is: NZ is a big retirement village
Im glad you love our country brother 😁 its always nice to see people talking bout our home on the world wide web.
Cheers bro, our home country is amazing can't help but show it off to the rest if the world. Slowly but surely we'll do as many locations in New Zealand as possible 😁👍❤🇳🇿

I like this guys cheerful personality.I was feeling a bit melancholy and that tour you gave about your country revitalized with energy and brought a smile to my face .
I think u r tryna put people off to keep NZ to yourself. Extremely selfish and nasty
@@monze3942 oh how sad it is....how nasty you yourself are......if you think it can be kept to oneself....if truth hurts you then oh wow, snowflake

I must say if your moving to NZ don’t go to Auckland it’s so much more expensive then the rest of our country.

That is so true.
i live in the middle of nowhere and shit still cost an arm and leg
...Queenstown...*cough* *cough*
But the rest of NZ is shit so at that point just don’t move to NZ unless you can afford Auckland
This video makes me want to see NZ so bad, great places to see and way of life! Much love from the US

It’s such a beautiful country. I’ve been on vacation and everyone was so kind to my family and were so tickled by how excited my little brother was to be there. He’s a huge LOTR fan.
But I think one big plus is that in New Zealand you will be able to get a lot more space and there are far fewer people😊✌ hope you get the chance to visit soon! 🇳🇿🤞
I will live in New Zealand some day💖💙

Fantastic video man. Truly seems like an incredible place to live with a bunch of chill friendly people. Can't wait to go check it out once the pandemic is over!
💯 NZ is awesome 😁👍 blessed to live in this beautiful country. Hope you can visit in the not too distant future 🇳🇿
Then: one of the cons is it's so far from anywhere else
Me: shouldn't that be a pro? 😂
NZ is definitely a good place to live although I wouldn't say the healthcare system is free, it's heavily subsidized but GP visits and dentists can be pricey 😊
But we have ACC, a system that no other country in the world has.
P.S. I just liked your post because of your avatar.
Thanks for the comments guys, yea NZ subsidizes a lot with healthcare! We covered it in more details in our description 🙂👍
@A 31 nah, ACC is great. It's better than the US alternative where in some states employers are forced to offer medical insurance.
I love your channel and tips. New Zealand really is a good place to live.

Nice video, I'd say relatively unbiased for a kiwi. I've enjoyed living in NZ last few years, though I must say people are not as friendly as I thought they would be. It's hard to make friends outside of the international community, but as a place to come and holiday, it's great.
I’ve always dreamed of living in NZ. I’m studying abroad during college and I’m want to go there and get a feel for it
Totally should come and visit 😊🤞 the pandemic eases over soon so that the borders are open again
Peter and Yen yea been super anxious for it to pass so I can visit
There is another Con about New Zealand, not that I’m hating, I absolutely love the country. I went over to New Zealand in the Easter this year and when I was watching the news there were reports like every day of people dying in car crashes. However I had an amazing holiday and I definitely would say if your looking for a good holiday this is the place for you!
Heya Holly you're totally right about that. The kiwi roads are dangerous people needa drive slow cause there's no middle barrier and some really slippery turns. Beautiful country but for sure this deserves a mention 🤔
I'd also add that there isn't much news here so one person dying in a car crash makes national news...
@@Camwize yeah I suppose so, here in the UK only major mass car crashes reach the headlines.
Loved the info. Well done. Thanks

erm, NO, NZ is way better than Aus.
🤣 yeah I'm sure it is but i still needa be neutral in case Aussies are watching 😂
@@elliteequine3785 NZ is far too expensive in comparisson to Aus. It's like nothing has changed in 30 years and you're all still paying twice what you ought to for TVs that the rest of us seem to be able to get with small change.
damn it I love this country.
NZ really is a beautiful country, the nature, people, lifestyle pretty much everything. You're right though, it's not without its flaws but that's like any country too.. the good so much outweighs the bad. Proud kiwis over here too 🙂🙌🇳🇿❤️ Thanks for sharing your memories! 😁👍

I can't believe you were able to roll into frame without ruining the clone shot. That's some skill right there!
And Pete that shot of you lowering yourself out of frame with the Sky Tower in the background cracked me up. 🤣
