I miss them 🥺. Even if they didn’t end up together, I feel like Elena was written in a way that felt false to me from season 4 onward. It wasn’t just her being with Damon or being a vampire, she just was a completely different character. It was even unsatisfying if you liked her and Damon together because part of it was how they were very different and that created tension but they muddled her character so much with her just stopping caring about Stefan and not being the bleeding heart she always was anymore. She just became so ?? Blah?? I don’t know ?? I hate it??
Even if we put all Damon's evil things aside he could never respect elena the way stefen did.....Damon treats elena like her fav toy ......he never allowed elena to be d one to take her stand even as a vampire....she always seemed so dumb around him....after dullena happened we literally can't think of a scene where elena did or even thought something by herself . It might sound silly but these small things makes a person passively loose their individuality and confidence ....and if such relationship continues she would never be able to even make d smallest decision 4 herself in absence of others Damon brings d worst out of elena Any sane person would rather stay single than have some one like damon in his/her life The only people who truly really changed Damon internally were Bonnie and Stefen

Destroyed Stefan so that writers could please damon's fans and made him like the hero.I myself a Klaroline shipper but forwood was amazing and Tyler was amazing until they decided to destroy it. Klaroline couldn't happen actually because The originals happened so they had to separate them.
Elena didnt deserve her ....Caroline was grt but she shud stay with Klaus .....Katherine and Stefan got so less screen time but still killed it and I think they were the best couple
