Same I’m starting in July in Columbus! I’m doing partners. Then they fly us to Dallas after we past and get our Class A. Then On the road for 6 weeks back home for a week then we hit the road
239.1 hrs for me, two west coast mountains or 1 west coast and 1 east coast, bump an east coast dock, powdered eggs most mornings but it's free, took me 7 months before I had to leave bud, documented it all, good luck to you I hope they're good to u and yours
I have plenty of truck driver friends. It’s great money and can definitely take you and your family to better places financially. Recommend truck driving for everyone

He hasn't been there for a full year yet. Good thing is he will guide me to have the best start off but he has never said anything bad about our stevens location here in texas. Location has to do with a lot i feel like too. Anyway, im very excited to start and even with all the bad reviews on this thread.

Do some research man, stevens .44 cpm, prime is 51 cpm, 575 for otr training with stevens, 800 non prime training per week, 900 prime training per week. 30k tnt dispatched training miles, meaning you and your trainers miles.

If you're as picky as he says in the last part of the video, you'll be on the yard waiting for a WHILE. Take your lumps do your time and get in your own truck. Lots of stevens drivers seem to be quitting.
Cause the training is garbage. And they try to punish you for ask for proper training. And they want to blame the drivers for the rising CSA score. A bunch of lazy racist arrogant instructora at this place. Avoid them...you have been warned.
Hey I know this video is old but I plan on starting with Stevens within the next month or so. My question was about the drug test lol is it supervised as in do they watch u? I smoke weed everyday so have had to use fake pee from the smoke shop in the past for drug test.

Do they help you get your class a permit?? I talked with another trucking company recruiter about signing on with them and they said everything is good I just needed to get my class a permit on my own before I go train with them 😑
Its super easy to get your permit by yourself brother. Go to your local dmv our state website dl book for free. Get physical and take 3 written test. That's it usually about $25
Looks like u almost have a year of experience, do find a better job after 1 year. Better pay local jobs or better pay OTR. These jobs u got are for first time drivers. Apply for better jobs
stop moving around when you make a video brother me and my friend signed up to drive team I just wanted to see if it was a ok company I know starting out everything will not be ideal but it comes with learning is there anything to know about team driving or tips neither of us complain and were organized so I figure just work hard and make loot

I’m thinking prime or Stevens. If I’m from dfw, would I have to fly out for primes orientation? And does prime have terminals in the dfw area?

Boring, 0800-2230 first two days, 0800-1700 3rd day on the 4th day about half the day and you're on the payroll
