I'VE HEARD THAT O.J. Simpson was considered for the role, but the studio didn't want him because no one would believe O.J. COULD PLAY A KILLER.
Hahaha, I've heard that too, and Lance Hendrickson was supposed to play him too!
Oh yeah the studio actually wanted OJ but Cameron talked them into casting Arnie instead after talking with him
Kyle was at within 10 feet when the 💥 went off. He died from the blast wave or the shrapnel.
In reality you'd be correct, however I'd be surprised if that was the reason in this specific movie universe, people stand next to huge explosions all the time in these movies.
18:09 Hey hey hey, hold on! The missus makes a good 80s bush pun and you stepped right on her moment!! Bad form dude!! 😂
Lol, guilty as charged.
1. Linda Hamilton ROCKED. She's really built in T2.
2. Along with Lance Henriksen/Vukovich and Michael Biehn/Reese both also played in Aliens as Bishop and Hicks respectively.
3.We have limited AI now.😱
4. If this wasn't a movie the ammunition would not have been available on the gun shop counter.
5. Ginger's boyfriend Matt must be a lousy lay if she needs rock and roll to "rock and roll".🙄
6. Watching people react to the eye operation is worth watching this all by itself.
7. "Terminator II Judgement Day" is the action movie GOAT.
Excellent info and yes T2 is probably in my top 3 action movies, top 10 out of all movies. Kelly hasn't seen it so we will be watching it on the channel soon!
Great to be with you again. This is one of my favorite movies. Mel Gibson turned down the title role in the original Terminator,
"The Terminator": The Hero's Journey of Sarah Connor, assisted by Tech. Sgt. Kyle Reese. 14:32 On "Movies with Mary," she began to count down the 30 Cops in a sing-song nursery-rhyme, just like "100 Bottles of Beer on the Wall." 20:52 That's stop-motion nightmare fuel. 26:20 Have you forgotten/not seen HAL 9000 in "2001: A Space Odyssey" (1968)? Oh wait, I see it's not a film you've "seen officially." so that's a subject for another "dive into old movies," someday.;)
I love Mary, I'll have to check that out.
They can bleed, sweat, have bad breath, but yellow teeth? So unrealistic! Lol good reaction guys!
I agree. Putting on my music major hat for a tick. You probably know that most Western music, especially for movie soundtracks, have a time meter of either 3 or 4 beats to a bar. This show, however, has a meter of a fast 13. There is a neurological theory that the human brain is highly disturbed by music with time division by non-trivial prime numbers.
I'm a musician too, not classically trained, but I've been in bands since I was 14 or so. This is one of my favorite sound tracks of all time. The main theme blends and epic quality with pure emotion in a way that I don't think I've heard before, such an interesting choice for such a dark scifi movie.
@@firstcityviews If you get the chance try a "listening" viewing of one of the most expressive and atmospheric soundtracks created in (your/my) lifetime. You may think Howard Shore in The Lord Of The Rings, which is pretty good, but analysis of that score shows it a little top-heavy in "leitmotif" and thus too operatic for atmosphere. I think a better one is Blade Runner by Vangelis.
The running Manish another good arnie movie aswell
I love Michael bein he is my favourite character in this movie love him
He is also great in Tombstone.
Great movie
I'm only commenting because of of your statement on the pronunciation of nuclear..... you said everything that instantly came to mind especially Bush.....did he invent the pronunciation. I remembered his speeches as a kid and my parents never liked his pronunciation of the word...are you an English teacher? I'm from a former British Colony.
I just remember SNL used to dunk on him all the time for saying it wrong.
Please Make Reaction;
The Legend Of Tomiris(2019)
Looks awesome!
Can you guys please do terminator 2 if you’ve not already seen it
Absolutely!
Next time Terminator 2: Judgment Day
It's definitely coming up!
@@firstcityviews Cool👍👍👍
Watch terminator darkfate after 2
People watching T2 before T1 are nuts 🤦🏾♂️😒👎🏾
It's called being 9 years old in 1992.
fun fact about t2, i didnt like it
Everyone is entitled to their opinion, even if it's wrong!!! Just kidding, I've met a lot of people who prefer the first movie because they like the horror angle which is missing from T2.
@@firstcityviews yes its a matter of personal style.. slips shades on
@@longfootbuddy Both are fantastic movies but for me the pacing of T2 is second to none, it's a two and half hour movie that feels like it's 90 minutes.
@@firstcityviews similar to rambo 1 and 2, and alien and aliens.. or even rocky and rocky 2, mad max and the road warrior.. and the list goes on.. they tend to pack in more in the sequels, as far as storyline and action.. its not always the case, but i tend to prefer the firsts, and like more subtle originals, that leave plenty of room for interpretations and such.. one of the things i appreciated most about the predator, was that it left so much unknown
I wouldn't go so far as to say I didn't like T2, but I like T1 much better, and I first saw it when I was 10 years old, and I remember it like it was yesterday, and no other movie after that had a bigger impact on me.
