I love the stop-motion terminator. Terrifying. And it gives the movie such a great aesthetic. And Sarah Conner is better in the first movie. I'll take that with me until the day I die. Great review!
Not to sound offensive and I'm not sure if James Cameron intended this or not, but Terminator represents autism in the first two films, specially this one flawlessly without throwing it in your face. Him starting out in his acting career, his Austrian accent and his English not being as good as it is today, the monotone voice, the robotic movement, the way he simplifies his words, and the way he lacks human behavior definitely traits of autism. I like how movies back in the '80s and '90s used this sort of thing as subtext. They got the point across without making it look like they're exploiting people.
Underrated channel
Thank you so much!
