I just started following you. Brian Call and others spoke highly of you. I haven't seen a lot of your stuff. But thank you for being real!!!!!!!! Your son is in the middle of the shot. Stealing bags running the sealer. The whole time, the misses is making faces while trying to let you do your thing. It really seems like that could have been any of us!!! that is watching your content house. Keep making stuff. I have some catching up to do.

Thank you for this video. I don’t do backcountry hunts but I do a lot of truck hunting and camping. This gave me some ideas for prepping meals for myself.

I highly recommend a chamber vac sealer they're a little pricey but you can fully vacuum seal all liquids

Also look into sous vide and pre cook your steaks then freeze them then they just need to be warmed in water in the bag and a quick sear

I don’t know if you would think this would work but sous vide the meat in vacuum bags and then all you would need to do is sear them in camp. They will keep in the vacuum bags as long as you keep the cold.

Freeze everything before you vacuum seal them , use loaf tins for most everything, then use as ice for coolers and you can cook in bags

I really appreciate all of your videos! They are some of the best western hunting videos I’ve seen on RUclips. Please keep them coming! They are a huge help, as I’m in the process of planning my first elk hunt. Thanks!

Great videos! My group is renting horses this year for an October Colorado elk hunt. We will be backpacking tent camping with the horse packing in our gear. Dumb question but how do you keep your food cold when you put everything on a horse or mule? Do you pack in a cooler? We are going lean and mean but I want to pack in a steak or preprepped meal. I don’t want freeze dried meals every day for a week. Thanks!

yes, we just packin coolers on our mules. 48 qt coolers usually fit perfectly
