Very intelligent RedRoad Lion is. He fights when absolutely necessary and he avoids trouble when necessary. To have such a large Pride for quite some time is truly a remarkable feat.
It`s nice to see that the Red Road Male is doing well and has recovered from his run in with the Tintswalo Boys. It seems to me that he is being more careful in moving with his family to a safer area as us humans do the same when war breaks out. I do wish all well TC be SAFE. RA 68 HELL FIRE

I truly pray to God somehow someway RR finds another male nomadic lion & they formed a coalition even at this stage of his life! Being a male lion is so freakin damn brutal & tough ya kno? Just sucks to see him all alone & have been attacked before.

Bharat. Yes, a mother lion raises cubs as does the male guarding and protecting the pride. This gives cubs time to grow and learn not only how to hunt, but to allow them enough time too also know pride culture. Time is just as important as nurturing. Bravo to Red Road for being savvy at his job, too.

How old is Mr. Red Road ? Its been a while sense we heard from Mr. Road? Last time I heard from him he was injured from a fight from one or two males right? Than injured a leg or hip I believe is that what happened? Than the females where upset with Mr. Road why because of his injury and couldn't mate with the females ? He had many lionesses and must of been a very busy lion. I'm a subscriber and got no new notices and my bell is on. Why is he the only dommaint single male of these pride? No other males have tryed a take over on Mr. Road? He's a great looking adult male Lion I want to know more of his history of his past where can I find videos on who was Mr.Road father? There he is, my red road king. What a beautiful beast of a lion. The cubs are now sub adults. Would that make them 10 or 11 months or older. I dont know. I can't wait to see how he will deal with his boys (the male sub adults). Is he going to push them out viciously like the ross males did to the b ham male. Or will he let them come and go until they off by themselves. What is the king of lions to do.
I think Red Road being a single male and not in a coalition won’t be as ruthless to the young males, the females may also intervene if Red road tried something with the young males-the youngsters still have about 1 and half years with the pride before they will be pushed out.
Doesn’t the spotlight at night advertise the leopards whereabouts? Even though the leopard had food doesn’t it tell hyenas and possible prey it’s location?
I'm hope these tintswalo guides can get us an update on the northern avoca males...blonde was thought to have been shot but they found no bullet and has a front paw injury....darkmane had a very similar injury and they both look to be in bad shape....it appears they've been fighting...check into it and I know you guys will get the answers.
Sir can I make a suggestion to you? Someone needs to do a series on the male loins of the passed and present. But with a different spin. Showing how to tell each lion apart from each other. Show us their scares and break it down. I bet a lot of people would like to be able to know each loin. But it needs to come from someone like yourself. Not someone just trying to make money. That may live in the US, etc.

He's too dominant. Dominant males like him usually have a hard time sharing territory unless the other male is totally submissive to him.

Strong smell of a kill gets them there faster, I would think.
Yea the strong smell of the Hyenas would get them faster than the lights! Hyenas nose is super strong is what I've been told.
