Marie, not only is this Ceramide Gel innovative and LOVELY, it is also perfectly Suited for spring + summer months, when we still want the benefit of Ceramide Complex, but cannot handle a heavy cream.
Your cheery voice and disposition never fails to put a smile on my face. Thank you for such a simple recipe. I noticed you don't use full hydrosol for the liquid in this recipe and body lotion recipes. Is there a reason for that? Thank you very much.
Thank you so much, Carol! I didn't use full hydrosol because this rose hydrosol is very fragrant and I find much more than 20-40% can be overwhelming, scent-wise :)
I love your videos you are so awesome. I wanted to know if I can add peptides with ceramides and the aristroflex. I wanted to put everything in one cream instead of adding layers to my face . Thank you
Hi Marie, thanks for all your videos. You are perhaps the only person I trust as you seem very knowledgeable. You explanations are clear and concise and kindly provide links. I am fairly new at DIY and now understand why everything must me weighted not measured. I get excited when I see a new recipe, but I also get overwhelmed with so many ingredients. Is there a basic list, say for body/face lotions? I think I got butters down ok. Also, do you order everything from Amazon? I also see that you always make a small amount. Is it possible to buy small amount of needed ingredients? Any recommendations? Thank you very much

I don't order everything from Amazon as Canadian Amazon doesn't carry most things I use-check my website for an entire page of places to shop! The quantities you can purchase things in will depend on the ingredient and where you're shopping. Happy making!
I found that the small batch size was tricky because tiny inaccuracies mattered a lot more than in a 50-100g batch, but I wound up deciding I needed more than 20g anyway and made another batch! A triple batch, 60g total, fills a 2oz cosmetic jar nicely.

Finally made this, Marie and just wanted to say, it’s lovely! Feels very soothing and repairing. Not moisturizing enough for me on its own but great under cream and/or a face oil. I’m going to take the suggestions below from some of your viewers and add 1% hyaluronic acid solution next time and maybe some hydrolized silk just to play around. I know some people dislike using silicones but the dimethicone really helps with skin softness and slip of the product; I did use a natural cyclomethicone alternative if anyone’s interested and it worked great. Called LuxGlide N5.
