This is an awesome gel cream. I have an oily skin, so everything gel base is wonderful. Made it without any color, but it still made your skin glows. Do you think its because of the ceramide? I just love this..Thanks girl
Hi Marie, you're doing a wonderful job❤️Thanks for impacting🙏 Please mine turned out sticky on my skin ... I added Rosehip oil, Sodium Lactate, Dpanthenol and Vitamin E, but didn't add Coco Caprilate... Pls where could I have gone wrong or the problem?
Loved ur formulation as always ...can u plz guide if i could reduce sepimex zen to 1% as i want to make this cream for airless pump which should be more liquid types n also can i add 2% Niacinamide for brightness n skin repair ..I love ur choice of ingredients
Hi Marie! Love all your videos, specially the last ones where you go into detail on products like stearic acid and cetyl alcohol. Now about this recipe, I havent been able to find aristoflex in my country but every other gelling agent ive replaced in this recipe is always super tacky and then peels :(, how to you suppose I could fix this so I can start making gel moisturizers
thanks for the formula, however i couldn't find ceramide complex( replaced with niacin amide), and couldn't find Polyacrylate crosspolymer-6 (Sepimax ZEN), which i replaced with aristoflex, nor did i have pantheon powder, only liquid form. the formula came out beautifully accept that its a bit sticky once dry, and that i dont feel its provides much moisture, maybe its suited for oily skin types? thank you once again!!
Hey! You'll find the answer to your question + lots of formula-specific and more general information about shelf life & preservation in both the partner blog post for the specific formulation (linked in the description box below the video) and the Humblebee & Me FAQ (www.humblebeeandme.com/faq/preservatives/). Happy making!
I would love to know where I can get some of the pink mica (Aurora) that you are using! The combination that you use looks like it would work great for me extremely fair skin! Thank you for your hard work! ❤️
You definitely can if your batch size is large enough; I elected not to as I didn't want to lose any product to a blender that big, but I did make quite a small batch :)
If you haven’t checked out Marie’s encyclopedia on her website, you may want to have a browse. Here’s the page on panthenol: www.humblebeeandme.com/project/panthenol-vitamin-b5/

Can you add AHA and BHA ingredients together for exfoliating Scrub??
I think that will over exfoliate your skin, pairing physical exfoliator and chemical exfoliator

can I substitute sepimax zen to ammonium polyacryloyldimethyl taurate?

i will also try replacing mica with açai berry powder, or beet powder for added benefits. does this sound like it would work at the same %?
Hi there, so glad to found your channel. I have an online shop name Humblebee in Indonesia too. ❤️
honey I really appreciate for your informative video
Thanks for watching!
What is the shelf life of the lotion + why you didn't add a preservative please?
Thanks
I definitely add a preservative; that's at roughly 04:17 (Liquid Germall™ Plus). Shelf life is discussed in the free partner blog post :)
Oh good. BC ive got tons of shimmery. Pearl mica
can I use a carbomer for gel making?
Marie. Eye liner. I refused to give up buying mascara
Only one I enjoy buying.
Great video
Hi Marie, can i substitute ceramide complex wih ceramide 3 liquid instead of niacinamide? Thank you
Winters are coming . Can you make some face cream videos with glyceryl stearate and peg 100 and less actives? Relying more on natural ingredients?
It is suitable to moisture dry or mature skin before makeup?
How long did you let the Sepimax Zen hydrate?
Hi Marie, I have been looking for a reliable mini blender. Do you recommend the one you use in this video? TIA :D
Yes I do! Learn more about it in the Humblebee & Me DIY Encyclopedia (www.humblebeeandme.com/diy-encyclopedia/).
Hi Marie, i commented on your ice palace shampoo bar .. i wanted to ask how do we know if our soap is mouldy or has gone bad ?

It's from TKB Trading, so just go to their website and search for it :) I'm not sure if they still carry it, though. Happy making!
Hi Marie, I was wondering if we could use an immersion blender to emulsify everything once it's been fully hydrated?
You definitely can if your batch size is large enough; I elected not to as I didn't want to lose any product to a blender that big, but I did make quite a small batch :)
Hi ladies, I read that an immersion blender destroys polymeric bonds so I would not risk it.
Marie I love jojoba oil.
I cannot find the polyacrylate at my place😭 i always wanted to do gel cream.. anyways thank you marie for the lovely formulation
Thanks for watching! :)
Same here girl. Can’t find at my place. 😭😭

I have a question... What does vit b 5 actually do?
If you haven’t checked out Marie’s encyclopedia on her website, you may want to have a browse. Here’s the page on panthenol:
www.humblebeeandme.com/project/panthenol-vitamin-b5/
Are micas skin safe and natural?
Cosmetic grade micas are skin safe, and mica itself can be natural or synthesized. Both sources have their strengths and weaknesses :)
The last ingredient- some zen..it's not in the ingredient list?
Sepimax Zen. Yes, It’s the last ingredient.
Polyacrylate crosspolymer-6 = Sepimax ZEN. See 05:14 :) Thanks for DIYing with me, and happy making!
