Thank you so much! I was hanging it too low which caused my hernia to hurt. Feels much better with the higher setting because the core can now handle the load
Thank you so much for this video, I've been having a terrible back pain because of the baby carrier but couldn't realize where the mistake was... Now I actually see I was making all of them 😂 great video!
Omg, I can’t believe it’s taken me this long to realise what I’ve been doing wrong for 4 months (little baby so it’s only just become an issue) I think my culprit is number 3, I feel like a really dummy lol!
Please don't feel like a dummy! I would say for about 75% of people coming to my sling clinics for help with their sling it is number 3 too. Often number 1 and 3. You are you in good company with a great number of parents. Glad it was helpful

Brilliant thank you!!! I feel more comfy already. Hoping to carry this 3rd baby for a long time and she’s only 3 weeks/8lb so was worrying I would injure myself! Fingers crossed.
I have just brought an ergobaby adapt but have a very big chest and feel like I'm squashing my bubba against me too much in it, and when i loosen the straps she just slides down. I've used a Marsupi since she was tiny but have started to get neck and shoulder pain now she's bigger and also feel like I'm squishing her too much. Do you think a side/hip carry in a wrap will work better?
Maybe a hip carry (either in a wrap or with your Adapt) would work better but very likely small adjustments in fit and small tweaks on how your wearing it may make a bigger difference in helping you both feel less squashed. Do you have a sling library near you? If not I do offer online consultations and can help you optimise the fit with your carrier. At first I thought it's a real baby
Ha yes my doll is quite realistic! Sadly my real babies are too old now (5 and 8 respectively!)
