I know I found peace when I began rediscovering myself. When I got to a point I was able to look in the mirror and love everything about myself (mainly who I am & not only what I look like on the outside) which brought me closer to God. It’s such a beautiful process. From taking care of yourself, resetting your subconscious from negativity, LOTS of healthy habits, discipline, & consistency. Being able to just exist w/out feeling like I need to burden myself w/ things or people to make me feel valuable, I’m valuable regardless bc of how I treat people and myself. Not keeping negative people or energy around and being extremely selective about who I allow into my life. And doing what I love whatever that means to me big or small. Once I got out of that superficial mindset life got better.
I was literally going through the same thing with both of my parents going in and out of the hospital. Thankfully both of my parents are still here, however, during that time I was dealing with haters at my job who had no clue that I was staying overnight in a hospital room and then would turn around and go to work the next day. They don’t know what it’s like to watch your parent lay there in that hospital bed, while you stay up all night asking and pleading with God to keep them here.
Now this is how we startin off 2023
This video came just in time. I started taking my journey with God seriously in 2022. Most recently I felt convicted to change my mindset. One of my personal quests in 2023 is changing my mindset from one of lack, to a mind of abundance in all things God has given me. Happy new year everyone❤🎉.

The childhood point hit hard for some reason. It’s REALLY hard to give God your childhood trauma & the words spoken over your life. I’m in that healing process & it is really hard but the peace does come with you slowly accept what God says about you. Amen love the vid

man the peace Gid has given me is truly crazy, for example i was stressed about finances and God told me to give it to him. I did that and completely fell away from the worry of it to the point i almost forgot about it, and somehow God said ill be the most stable ive ever been in 2023, i couldnt save a dollar if it jumped into my pocket but God changed that. Not only money but career, family, and problems because there are more than ever, i have the most peace ever going thru them.

My dad passed away suddenly four months ago and it hit me hard to the point I started stuttering. My dad hurt me so much during my life that I thought when he died it would never affect me but boy it did! I wished I had a chance to tell him I am sorry for being angry with him and that he did the best he could even if it was not good enough for me. My dad abandoned me several times throughout my life and the worse was when he left my children on the side of the road and me. At the end of last year, I asked God to help me let go of all the pain, hurt, trauma, and wounds my daddy caused me. I want to be free and I want peace so I have to do the hard work and forgive until it doesn’t hurt anymore. Thank you Phil for your transparency. I always felt my childhood was stolen from me but I have to let it go so I can live as a healthy, free, adult.

My love with God continues to grow everyday because I once stopped praying completely due to pain and confusion. Forgiveness is love. Grounding is love. Connection is love. I’ve left work now so I’m rewatching this and man as a first generation immigrant and teacher I feel this SOOOO much and it grieves me so much that there’s also other kids going through this. There’s so much power in your testimony may God use this for the NATIONS! I wish my students had a mentor like this. I pray the words of your testimony continues to glorify God in all its ways. Wow I’m stunned, praise God! You’re such a pure human being, I pray the Lord continues to protect and guard you from the wickedness of this world. I pray you never stop guarding your heart, discernment and wisdom shall always be your portion!

I'm not even Christian, I'm muslim. Differents religions but same faith. It's good to see how God is important for you. People focus too much on other aspects than faith and they think they can find peace ... Money, girls, parties, ... But all this things come and go while God stays.
You’re not crazy, nor are you alone on this journey. I found peace doing the real work. Just like you. Getting straight with God with my on past and traumas. The distance from the ppl in chains has made this journey lonely but I know I’m never alone. I was also bullied in middle school and I played sports especially basketball to build my self Esteem back. Im materialistic too cause it’s what I like. I had the stale face 😒 too when ppl would say God told them stuff in my past life 😂
So I feel you on this whole video and I’m following your journey cause it helps me know I’m not alone 😅

I really really needed this. For awhile, I felt like God had failed me and I was in a “Why me” type of vibe. And I was so mad for what I felt like he allowed happen. Honestly, this just motivated me to get back into the word cause I’ve been putting it off for so long just due to my own hurt. Phil, let me tell you something; I had the same thoughts about how we think other people are living when we feel like we’re living in an not ideal situation but God has been showing me very recently that the grass isn’t always greener. I was raised by a single mother and I’ve always admired people who came from two parent households but something I didn’t appreciate til now is the love my one parent has given me my whole life. I meet so many people who have both parents but they lack love. But I guess what I’m trying to say is, it can seem like things are better for others when we lack something in our own lives but nothing compares to love. Thank you for the video Phil!
So many of us when we were young went through so much trauma and difficulty it's unbelievable how we've made it to the present, peace healing and strength to all trying to overcome🙏✨️ it's all been because of divine grace🦋

What you said right there at 21:50 is sooo true 😭. I remember when I gave my life to Christ in 2020 I felt the most peace and love ever. I even thought my anxiety and depression was cured (which it was). I remember we even got into a car accident and the lady was lying on us saying we had ran the red light when we didn’t smh. But I remember I was at such peace that I was like you know what it’s alright. Gods will is gonna be done. If it’s meant for us to get compensated for the crash cause he knows the truth that it wasn’t our fault then we will. But if for whatever reason it doesn’t happen then that’s ok cause again it’s His will. Meanwhile my mom was ripping her hair out super worried cause we were tight on money. Next thing you know a witness was actually found even though there was no actual witness in the police report but somehow the ladies own insurance company found a witness and we ended up getting compensated cause they figured we were telling the truth. God is GOOD!!! Esp when you seek Him wholeheartedly and place all your trust in Him with no compromise! It’s not until I started backsliding that I started struggling with depression and anxiety again. God is truly our life, love, and peace source! Without Him we got nothing & we are nothing!!! Now I’m back on the journey of getting back on track with Him. He’s never left me tho, I was the one that left Him by not putting Him first in my life continually as we’re supposed to.

When you spoke about people’s testimonies on hearing God speak to them, I felt that. I had the same questions 😅. But I’ve realized everyone’s personal relationship with God is different. Each day I’m learning and growing and I’m extremely appreciative. Your videos are great and are so real!

Phil, if the younger you could see you now he’d be soooo proud! People are always asking me for advice on being happy and complimenting me on my strength because of things I’ve persevered through but honestly, it’s all God. Having a relationship with Him has changed my life so much. I fully trust God but I also deal with my own insecurities. Most of them are rooted in my childhood. But the main one being that I almost lost my life a few years ago. I did therapy, read so many books, isolated myself & got closer to God. I chose to let so much go and just expect great things to happen for me. I have my days but most of them are filled with peace. I did the things that were hard to do such as quitting w*ed, moving to a new city alone, becoming a truck driver, etc. I can’t wait to see me at my best! 2023 is all about me treating myself better. Better food, better health, better experiences. Thank you for sharing your experiences with us. This just inspired me to do what I know God is calling me to do! Blessings to you❤️
I’ve had this same realization. I started writing in my notes about gaining true fulfillment but stopped because I felt like I couldn’t really speak on it. Later on I seen a tiktok of a pastor talking about how fulfillment comes from God and seek first the kingdom of God. I stayed up all night trying to internalize that bible verse and feel and talk with God. That was my proudest moment feeling Gods presence and really understanding. I had tons of bills, failed an exam, and a bunch of stuff I still was at peace and later I watched your video where you spoke on God giving you an unexplainable peace 🙏🏾

The part about holding a grudge is the hardest for me. I have a cousin that I do not like at all. She is disrespectful to my mother and will completely ignore her while showering my dad with attention. (This is a 37 year old woman) My mother has done nothing to her and it infuriates me that she is so dismissive to the person that brought me in this world. My mother is quiet and keeps to herself. She is an introvert and had a very traumatic life before getting married to my dad. I get to the point that when I see my cousin, Im ready to physically fight her and I know that is not how I should be. I know it and I have to ask God to work on me in regard to my anger towards her. I thought I was pretty good at not holding grudges until I hear her name being mentioned. That is going to be something I work on for this year. I don't want my anger and dislike for her to hold me back from whatever God has in store for me.
All praises to God. I know God is helping me to heal because I'll admit that before I would feel left out when seeing good things happen to others and wonder why not me too. Now I have the mindset of if God can bless others with more peace, joy, love etc then He can also do the same for me in His timing. You are glowing and when you shared details on your early life, it definitely allowed in getting to know you better. 🌟❤️

Love this vid. I’ve always felt the most at peace while trying to spend time with God. You are absolutely right about those people who are mean to others, sometimes it has nothing to actually do with their victim. Sometimes they just don’t know what to do with those suppressed feelings or emotions and end up letting it out on other people. When i look at it like that, I feel nothing but sympathy and love towards those people rather than hate. Everybody is going through something or has been through something. As you mentioned, we can’t fight hate with hate. We need more love in this world because so many people are going through things they don’t talk about.

It’s so ironic because I’ve been ranting lately about how idc about seriously dating due to the fact a lot of men lack leadership skills, a moral compass, a strong belief in a higher power, discipline & show good judgement. 16:48 - 17:27 is a WORD. The entire vid is, but I also experienced this. Being in solitude due to hiding vs healing...I was in solitude for so long. Years until 2019 I actually began to heal & become 'awakened' understanding myself. Having God guide me etc. There really is a difference

You are also a reminder for me and other women that it is possible for us to find a Godly and disciplined man. God sends me visions of ppl so I like to observe who i'm around. A lady touched my shoulder to scoot by and I instantly felt chills in my body and dreamed of snakes that same night aka bad energy.
